Following Our Nearest and Dearest Rivals, 2014-15

Ifs or buts, I don't know how to respond to.

Here's another one for you.

If you're going to be an ungrateful blurt about the man who guided us, to what many consider, to be our greatest success, how do you expect people to react?

I feel sorry that you weren't able to feel what I and others felt on May 19th 2012. I was definitely too drunk, anxious and emotional to realise that we only had 11% of the ball and Bayern had 457 shots.

You're on a windup, surely? You won't take other Chelsea fans word for the way we played under Robbie, or even an independent assessment that our problem was an overwhelming urge to attack.

If you don't know how to respond to a question about an alternative scenario, then you're an idiot. An idiot on a windup.

You need to chill out Hutch, you'll give yourself a hernia.

Winning any trophy is admirable. I was very happy. Winning the CL, the best competition for clubs, is something to cherish and admire for the rest of my life. I look at football games and want to see a great play. Defensive struggle is something I can do without.

Very happy is that all. I was on a different planet that night

It's Peter Sage he's a really annoying little tit. If Peter Sage tried to find God? God would hide.

Under RDM, Chelsea's results were acceptable. His style of play wasn't. Nothing more to question.

what a w**ker! f**k off and watch arsenal then if you want watch acceptable football. Tosser

I'm pleased to see so many examples of eloquent words here. You limeys never seized to amaze.

All because of a difference in style of football. Lolita will love you all.

To be honest i loved the way we played in those 'park the bus' games at Barca and bayern. They were fantastic team performances and games that had everything. That is what football is all about. I think I would take our dramatic champions league route, than us winning every game by half time.

No it's because you're disrespecting a Chelsea legend with incorrect facts, also that last bit is just plain weird.

I don't disregard his winnings, at all and certainly I don't disrespect him. It all boils down to reading my postings more attentively.

Apologies. I must have missed the bit where you weren't talking out of your arse. Hold on, I'll have another look....

Nope, sorry. Still can't find it.

I'm quite calm thanks. But your problems is?

Hahaha of course you are. You're very abrupt with people. I think you're just over-reacting to Sage's comments.

Too limited?

I'd say so yes. The range of your posts on the current subject is extremely limited, falling somewhere between Utter Bollocks and Complete and Utter Bollocks.

I'm not actually reacting at all. I initially disproved his assertion that Robbie Di Matteo employs an ultra defensive style of play, adding an independent assessment to back up my viewpoint,

His inability to (a) imagine a scenario in which we might have played a below strength Bayern in the Champions League final at Stamford Bridge, coupled with (b) either an inability or a refusal to acknowledge the facts as stated, even proven, takes me to the inevitable conclusion that he is either on a windup and/or an idiot.

Nothing abrupt about it either,

if you don't like the way I post then I suggest you use the "Report" button, because little cracks about needing to chill out, calm down, yoiu might have a hernia etc aren't going to change anything. They're merely mildly irritating, and not only for myself.

Lofty expectations of being successful in anything hasn't materialized. Therefore, we're seeing one little pit bull. Abusive, arrogant and plain stupid.

Truth hurts, eh.

Abusive you say, what was that "Lolita" crack about? And the other day, English fans were "Limeys" or was it "speaking stupid Limey English". Something like that anyway.

And arrogant? Oh I'd say so. You come out with a blanket statement about Roberto Di Matteo parking the bus, one that is clearly disprovable and massively inaccurate, so much so that our problems were the exact opposite of a parking the bus, ultradefensive style.

But you ignore this, you stick to your guns, because once you've said something and you sure as hell ain't going to change your mind on the basis of something as straightforward as facts.

And repeating the same mistakes in the hope that something will change, that people will say "yeah you were right all along", when everyone knows just how inaccurate your portrayal of Di Matteo's time at Stamford Bridge actually is, surely that is the very definitiion of stupidity.

Edited by Lofty.

Peter Sage, you must be the only one that thought Di Matteo made us play "negative" football in his time at Chelsea. The way we won the Champions League was amazing and i don't think any other club could do what we did. It wasn't negative football, it was football played with heart, passion and a determination to win. The same with the F.A cup, are you forgetting the way we played against Tottenham and Liverpool to win it ? Then you forget about the way we played in the Premier League the following season. What is this negative football you are talking about ? i didn't see it.

Against Napoli we came back from 3-1 down to win the game 5-4 on aggragate, was that negative football ? Against Barcelona and Bayern Munich we took on quite possibly 2 of the best attacking teams we could come up against and beat them both, and the way we beat them cannot be describe as negative.

How can you call overcoming the odds with passion and commitment negative football ? there is no better way to win in my opinion.

I'm sure you'll all be shocked to hear.

Jack Wilshere is injured again.

Ruled out for the "next few games" with an ankle injury.

The irony is that if he had been sent off for the Fellaini incident, he'd still be fit!

He's a liability. Feel sorry for him that he is so injury prone but it doesn't help that he is a grade-A tw@
