August 23, 201411 yr I don't think Sanchez was a player that Arsenal "needed". They need a partner for Ramsey and a striker.
August 23, 201411 yr I don't think Sanchez was a player that Arsenal "needed". They need a partner for Ramsey and a striker. You honestly think Mourinho wouldn't be able to get a better tune out of him? or his fellow countryman Pellegrini? If he played for either of the top sides he would be devastating, I think he may need time adjusting to the reality of who he actually is playing for. He was playing for a side who got to CL semi finals for sh*ts and giggles and then moved to a club who has to qualify to get in it.
August 23, 201411 yr What are people's opinions on Debuchy? I thought he was going to be a good signing for Arsenal as he looked quite good at the World Cup, but so far he has been quite poor for them in my opinion. Average for me. He's good for his national team I guess, he was good in the Euros to but I don't see how he's top 4 material.
August 23, 201411 yr As you're a City fan who has supported your club through so many hard times, like many of us Chelsea supporters on here, don't you find stuff like this really annoying: Arsenal fan from the BBC Live text: I'm starting to think how much it is a waste of time watching Arsenal these days. Could have been doing something better with my time." I mean, I wonder how Arsenal fans would cope if their club ever went through properly tough times like our clubs both did. Arsenal fans seem to think 9 years without a trophy despite still finishing top 4 every season equalled 'tough times'. I'm not sure about how Chelsea fans felt and after the flak i've received this week i think it's best if i shut up but my club was never actually good so it made the defeats more normal and the wins that much more special. We weren't a good team so i didn't hold them to expectations and as a supporter of mid table side you almost felt like you had to support your own club and a top 4 club so that come the trophy presentations you knew whether to be happy for the side lifting it or upset that you got pipped by the rags. I've supported Arsenal, Chelsea, Newcastle, Blackburn and Liverpool in my time, I remember almost feeling like my own club lost the title when Newcastle blew that lead under Kevin Keegan. When your neighbor wins everything for year on year, You have to resort to these sort of things, I bet you lot supported United when they were up against Arsenal in the early Wenger years.
August 23, 201411 yr I'd love it if they lost here and then also lost to Besiktas on Wednesday.. but then I'd be worried that Wenger would panic and go and sign 2/3 top players. If they did that means they'd be in the Europa League which would make this season schedule mental. Don't see it happening but I wish it would.
August 23, 201411 yr Arsenal in the Europa League would be hilarious because they always use that to laugh at Tottenham. Yeah it is quite unlikely I guess, but Besiktas will go through with a score draw so fingers crossed haha! Dare to demba!

August 23, 201411 yr Apparently Di Maria is signing for the man u scum next week (according to sky anyway) Would love if PSG pop up with a last minute bid and snatch him right underneath there noses lol.
August 23, 201411 yr Goodison has gone quiet... Everton really could have sewn this up a lot sooner, perhaps took their lead for granted.
August 23, 201411 yr My god that made me laugh, it's not even clever I never even noticed that, phone auto corrected it :)I like it though. Edited August 23, 201411 yr by dkw
August 23, 201411 yr 2-2, lame. Def hold on for the frickin' point. All stemmed from stupid passes from Everton outside Arsenal's box.
