My Liverpool supporting mate (whose a closest Gooner) put "Theo, Theo" in response to my "Come on Villa" comment. Bit embarrassing I told him, he says you know they're my second team. You can't have a bloody second team in the same league especially one that's such a close rival.

I would say well done Arsenal but after all the bitterness and 'Boring' b*ll*cks over the last month or so I'll just focus on how abysmal Villa have been today.

Villa are crap. How on earth did such a poor team reach the final? Still, at least beating the 17th best team in the Premier League will ensure Wenger gets another 10 year contract.

They've been poor, I agree. But good teams make teams appear that way.

Let's be honest here - when we beat Swansea 5-0 this year all I read was how good we were, not how sh*t they were . And yet here it's the complete opposite.

Arsenal have been good today, but i think Villa have been dreadful. Villa have had plenty of chances to get forward but all of their players are miss controling it, giving the ball away or making the wrong decision.

Stupid comment

Not really. At the start of the season you don't have page upon page of forum or tabloid speculation as to who will win that season's FA Cup do you.

So our 4 F.A cup wins in the last decade have just been a consolation then have they ?

Basically they were used by the fans and the club to lick the wounds of being second best to Man U in the league, if we're being honest.

Agreed and when we beat Swnsea plenty on here were saying how sh*t Swansea were

FA Cup has a mountain of history behind it, great teams have won it including many of our great sides. It's a prestigious trophy you saying its consolation cup is ridiculous.

It's a cup competition you don't even get that with the CL final

Clear foul and a pen. The challenge carried on into the area, so a pen can be given.

Is that a rule you've made up ? A foul only carries on into the box for a pulling type offence, not a tackle. Just because he fell into the box does not make it a penalty.

Bollocks, i never thought that way at all and neither did most fans. I celebrate winning the F.A cup as much as i do any other trophy.

So Ozil performance rating? I thought he did nothing

I'm convinced we are watching different players now. He was the best player on the pitch, created about 3 chances that should have been scored in the first half.

And its fans attitude like this that is killing the best knockout competion in the world

Swansea are a decent team who came 8th this year. No one else went to their ground and thrashed them 5-0. Villa on the other hand really are sh*t.

I have seen it happen many times in the past, not just for a player being pulled, even from tackles.

Yep. Ok, so the FA cup has gone through a barren spell but it's back now. It's interesting that the cups in others countries in Europe are now treated with the respect we give it now too. Previously things like the Copa Del Rey were second XI comps.
