April 28, 20179 yr Id happily loan him out to another prem team if I know for sure that he will be starting in the majority of games, because he is definitely good enough. There is almost no point loaning him out to any lower league teams, or teams that are fighting relegation in other countries

The squad of the team he goes to will have to need him and not just go to make up the numbers. Training with us will be better than sitting on a bench elsewhere. With hindsight perhaps they bought him for the Championship.
April 28, 20179 yr I still don't think he has the game intelligence/workrate to play in centre mid but must admit have been impressed with him as an attacking mid/second striker in his brief cameos this season - but he needs gametime. If we sign Krul as a backup GK it wouldn't surprise me if we loan RLC to Newcastle next season. Edited April 28, 20179 yr by the special one

But both of them can be learned if he had that him and Kante could be an imposing midfield 2. The other thing that would be brilliant to see is a similar formation to the one we played against Southampton in a couple of years but Baker in for Fabregas and Loftus Cheek in place of Matic. Probably a dream though.
May 2, 20179 yr Possibility for Ruben to receive his second premier league medal in 3 seasons. No bad for a lad struggling to get game time. That's 2 more than Stevie Me. He does need a BPL loan though, no doubt.

May 30, 20179 yr Ship them all to Bournemouth with Begovic. Howe loves our young players. RLC, Baker if he isn't it going to get time and Tammy. Edited May 30, 20179 yr by TheChelseaBlues

I have always had doubts about Ruben but i have tried to convince myself otherwise for a while. Conte played a 19 year old free transfer at Juve who had even less first team exposure than RLC at the time, if he thought he could do likewise with him he would have played more.

Pogba had a huge reputation when leaving Utd, very different scenario. As for Tammy, Ruben is far ahead of him and i very much doubt Tammy will ever make it at Chelsea. Opinions and what not though.

As of yet Ruben has made no stamp on professional level football with just a handful of appearances across 3 seasons. Whereas Tammy has scored 20+ goals in a single season at senior level. I'd say Tammy is now a year ahead of Ruben in his development, I'd struggle to see any Premier League side in which Ruben would start for, needs a top Championship loan next season playing 40+ games for me.

Tammy is nothing more than a poacher. Isn't complete enough to thrive at a top club. Remember Bamford smashed it it the Championship as well. RLC kept an entire Liverpool team in his back pocket on his debut. Would start for most teams in the bottom half of the premier league table at the moment.

To compare an entire debut 20+ goalscoring season to a one off 90 minute end of season performance is pretty incomparable. I was at that game and thought Ruben was brilliant in that holding/deep lying midfield role however he hasn't played a game there since and I think it's down to a lack of work rate and pressing off the ball. Really gone off the boil for me and despite showing initial promise he's now struggled to break through under three managers (Mourinho, Hiddink, Conte)

I was comparing him to Bamford when he hit 19 goals with Middlesborough and won Championship player of the year. Managers seem to stick him higher up the pitch because of his ability to take a man on. RLC bursting from deep could be incredible. Although his work rate did seem poor under Mourinho, it has looked 10x better since Conte took over. I will admit that most of the time he's coming on against tired teams he's still chasing men down and running after loose balls.
May 30, 20179 yr Reuben is a championship caliber player, three years from now thats were he and Bamford are playing. Abraham has so much more to offer then just being a poacher. He can hold up the ball, is a good passer and is a physical specimen still developing. Bamford was never in the same league potential wise Edited May 30, 20179 yr by Xfaxtor

Something was special was seen in Ruben, otherwise he would have been shipped out on loan just like the rest. Abraham has proven this year he isn't the type of player to go out and create a goal for himself out of nothing like all great strikers can do.

Abraham found his level his first year of senior football? Ok Jeff. If Lofthus-Cheek was so special he wouldnt have spent most of the season in the stands

Tammy may never be Bergkamp but his all round ability isn't anywhere near as bad as made out, Sheffield Wednesday fans (when they played Bristol) openly admitted to sh*tting themselves every time he had the ball. Also Bamford was 21 when he went to Boro and playing for a team challenging at the top, Tammy was 18/19 with two half's of pro experience under his belt and playing for an abysmal team and getting next to no service and even then his goal record was better than Bamford, he is head and shoulders above Patrick. Being from Nottingham all my close friends have seasons tickets for either Forest or Derby and all said when they saw Abraham play he was incredibly clumsy on the ball. Looked deadly inside the box and clumsy outside of it.
