I would prefer Loftus Cheek to partner Kante in midfield to Fabregas 10 out of 10 times.

This is why the loan system is f* up. We already sold Chalabah, Matic was going too, and we sent RLC on loan without a second thought. Assume we will sign another midfielder, there's no way RLC will be coming back if he has a good season

Meanwhile, This Sunday we may have to play Luiz in the midfield.

His debut for Palace was very good, very impressed me. Never lost hope in that guy, if he will continue to show what he showed in his debut, there is no reason for him to be sold or loaned. He has a spot in our team. 

Just see how confidence can change a player, his balls were great, his dribbling forward is good. Exactly what we need from a CM. I really hope and believe in him that he would make his big step.

He's never had the confidence to try that sort of thing with us, because he knows he only gets a few minutes and doesn't want to make mistakes.

Exactly. When we can't trust our youth to play, make mistakes and learn for better from them we have no hope. Well at least the sales strategy of youth is working. Hopefully we can get like £15- 20m for him as that's probably our actual agenda. Waste of a great academy by a visionary money men- and woman- board.

that was an awesome play - I just hope Don Antonio realizes that this guy is a Box to Box Midfielder instead of a CAM or a Forward - then again maybe he did that cause RLC didn't always display the ability to cover the pitch & he does have the Lazy tag to his skill set

Been saying since the 2014-15 season this lad needs a run of games in the middle of the pitch. Every time i mention it on this forum i get shot down, so glad he can showcase his ability now. 

 

I will never be happier to be proved wrong than if i am in Ruben's case. The idea of him his great, it's just what's been put into practice i haven't been a fan off so far.

 

RLC is starting again for Palace vs L'pool. He holding his own so far.

Good first half for him created one great chance for Puncheon and helping a lot to Ward on the right-wing. His defensive work pretty impressed me this half. Poor game, but his performance in this half was good.

Set up a sitter for benteke...which he missed 

nice lil run from the right flank. RLC shows his strength & L'pool are forced to foul him. Henderson gets a yellow for the challenge.

he's looked really good so far. arguably the best player on the field for palace. 

Not one to say I told you so, but I've been saying this kid has the credentials since his debut and people said ‘he's lazy’, ‘he's not good enough’ etc. Now you have Palace fans saying he's too good for them, I really hope this kid comes back and plays for us next season, can't see it though.

Zaha and RLC can do some amazing moves in Crystal Palace, unfortunately, Zaha is injured... 

RLC looked really good today, another good performance by him. He looked like their best player, he was the only one who tried to go forward, he created two big chances and pushed the team forward with his dribbling. Plus his tracking back to help was perfect. I'm so happy for him, all he needs is to continue in that way and try to lead the team.

True, the saving grace is RLC gets to play week in, week out and showcase his talent, with us he doesn't get to do that. 

He was definitely palaces best player, along with fosu mensah. 

I still think he can needs to be a little more intense in his defensive game. He will go from strength to strength though with consistent minutes this season. 

Just a shame he has players like puncheon, and Townsend around him.
