Thibaut Courtois

No but 75% is quite a big percentage wouldn't you say. It's the only evidence we have to go by at our club. How about Liverpool, 2 belgians and one talking bollocks, 50% is quite a big number. Everton, 2 belgians both talking bollocks. 100% is quite a big number.

Ahhahhahahaha, stop being an idiot on purpose, it ill suits you. 4 or 8 of hundreds or thousands is irrelevant statisctically speaking, and you're also confusing percentage with cardinality. I suggest a few pints of a good strong Belgian beer that ought to cure you :)

I hope Guus says, "So you think the fact that there's competition with the national team raises the level of training? That's easy to solve. From now on you compete with Asmir."

While I agree with you, shouldnt that be the norm? I dont think either has done anything on the pitch to set himself apart from the so far this season.

Defended the guy earlier for his form, but his comments make it very hard indeed to like him.

Are you sure, ShedEnder91?

Who has told you that?

Have you heard it?

Have you seen it?

Wich comments?

As others have mentioned, what is it with Belgian players?

No problems in Tottenham, ShedEnder91.

I don't see problems in Man. City.

No problems in Everton.

Liverpool has other problems.

Especially a Klopp problem.

Lukaku loved to talk when he was here and now he's being incredibly disrespectful to Everton.

Incredibly disrespectful?

What has he done?

The issue for me though is who will call Courtois to task for these comments? Who at the club will say that this isn't the way you treat the badge? It would appear there's no-one to crack the whip right now and bring him into line.

No-one.

There's no Courtois issue.

Again, that is a problem for us.

Is it possible that you create problems, ShedEnder91?

Nothing personal, but ...

You don't have any proof and you want that the club will punish him?

Strange world.

2. Do we actually want things to be made public, like the Eva saga which I think we all agree should have been dealt with internally, away from the prying eyes of the media and fans.

Perhaps, on this thread?

You're right on both points, but it is hard to imagine who might be the one to sanction him. Who would be the one to take that decision right now?

:laugh2:  :laugh2:  :laugh2:

You really want to punish him, ShedEnder91?

I hope Guus will give him some tips since Guus is the master of the boring non controversial interview and knows how common Dutch phrases can be translated in a way that isn't technically wrong but that has some negative connotations. It's not Guus's job however to micro manage them off the pitch.

I'm sure that Guus has seen the interview, Offside.

The man understands Flemish.

Don't think he has seen any problem.

Have you seen the video?

 In Thibaut's case,

There's no case.

He did well!

It was a good, correct interview.

The Guardian has made a different version.

Guus has other problems, Offside.

Don't you think?

There's still a lot to do.

Please!

Let me invite you two!

Always welcome! You can stay at my place. No problem!

There are I'm afraid some young footballers who just give off a bad vibe and Courtois definitely falls into this bracket. Rather too much to say for himself and 73 million (reported) for someone who from what I've seen is a chasm behind Cech and for that matter Begovic. 73 million for an overrated keeper bite Madrid's hands off Roman and put it into the redevelopment of the Bridge.

Can you show me that interview, ShenEnder91?

Here's Roy Keane discussing this exact thing, yet I'm sure its not evidence or anything because no Belgian ever does wrong and for the record I think keane is a prick but he makes a lot of sense about this matter. JT or someone should have said something. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Pcvx1_uNr0A

I guess Guus just misunderstood him......ffs how much proof do you need?

Or why would he even be doing this interview the day BEFORE we play psg instead of focusing on discovering his form for Chelsea? Its disrespectful to be doing these sorts of interviews when you should be focused on the chsmpions league.

Incredibly disrespectful?

What has he done?

Why does he even answer these types of questions? Its called respect to not be saying your leaving your current club because their not good enough in Public. Why Hazard, Thibo, or Lukaku can't seem to understand that is beyond me but it has nothing to do with being Belgian but with the player being arrogant. They're plenty of great Belgian players who don't do this sh*t and run their mouths to the media. I'm just trying to show that these guys have a history of doing this. I never heard Frank, Cech or JT doing any of these types of interviews, let alone during the same week your playing an opponent in Europe ffs.

If we got ridiculous money for Courtois, I'd definitely sell. He's nowhere near the level of De Gea.

He seems slow and makes silly decisions. He's still young but he's very experienced now and that cannot be applied anymore. He's nowhere near Cech's level with us.

Totally agree Mayos. If someone will pay that much then I hope the club sell right away. It seems were really trying to balance the books so that would go a long ways in the market.
