Costa has been linked with a return to atletico BEFORE we became a side without European football. Our missing out will only strengthen this link I believe.

Tibo will be on this list IF real Madrid do not sign de gea. Biggest side in the world who will pay him even more than we do. Otherwise I do not see who can afford to buy him from us.

Hazard could make it a double real swoop on us. He came here because we were a cl team it makes logical sense that he would at least consider going now we do not have it and real have zidane. I would be surprised if he went to psg though.

Willian I believe could be a surprise name on the list. I have nothing to back this up other than a gut feeling he may get a good offer from a cl team, maybe bayern may want him to release Vidal.

Final player would be cesc, provided he gets an inqury from a big side.

As much as I would like to see a massive clear out of Arrogant deluded gob sh#te players like Courtois and Hazard, however sadly and realistically they are likely to remain at Chelsea for another year, and must obviously massively Up their game on the pitch and Wise up of it, ( they need to grow up into real men) as I honestly can't see many mug teams out there who would want to pay loads of money for gob sh#tes such as them.

You can now understand why Peter Cech was completely pi##ed off by Jose's decision to demote Cech to the bench behind the inexperienced arrogant Belgium idiot gob Sh##e that is Courtois.

People do realise it is a Journos job now a days to get players to say something controversial and it is no longer about getting to know the player and is all about tripping them up to make them say something worth a headline, then they can misrepresent a players words however they want to make up another bullsh*t story for us to read.

Yes the player should know better than to say that competition at the club is less than at international level but is really that bad, especially when at the moment with the club in the shape it is in, it is the true answer. Can anyone truly tell me that our team would beat Belgium's man for man, their defense is currently a hell of a lot better that is for sure. 

So let us all just take a chill pill and relax a little, there is no point attacking each other or getting irate about another nothing story that the press has concocted for the sake of it.

Thibaut has been a disappointment of late and it had little to do with the defence.. I think some people are smart enough on how to properly judge a GK performance.. It's not about the 1-on-1 goals that he conceded, it's not about the quantity of goals he conceded, it's in a scenario where we think he could and should have done better regardless of the defence.. 

One season without Europe is not the end of the world, players that love the club and love their fans will play in the club every day and try to get the club better. 

 

Remember when Juventus played in Seria B. Buffon, Del Pierro, Nedved, Camoranesi, stayed in the club and stayed loyal to their fans. They wanted Juventus to get back to the top of Seria A and they made it. Our big players failed to save our title and failed to keep Chelsea's top level. If the players got heart and love the club, love the fans, then those players should bring us back to the CL next season. The team has failed to bring us to the top this season, in my opinion, player that want to leave because he won't play CL football next season, this player runs away from responsibility. 

 

By the way, who said we won't play in CL/EL next season? There is still long way.

Agreed what he did was stupid and is very likely a reflection of the mood around the club.

And yes Courtois has been uninspiring this season in goal. He has been alright but has certainly not been any where near the level of keepers like De Gea which is the level he should be playing at.

I would hope that Courtois himself would admit this and want to improve his game.

I also don't particularly mind a player preferring to play for his country, I certainly would.

I think there is something to it in the case of the Belgians. They've been told for most of the last five years that they are a golden generation. In fact most of them have miserably failed to live up to the hype.

You can't deny that there are differences between cultures in terms of how people express themselves. I don't know if it applies in this case. I do know that in my experience Dutch culture is more blunt and less diplomatic, and that may carry over to Belgium.

There are definitely differences between cultures in how much you say aloud what you think. In some cultures people supress it even though they might be thinking the same thing.

I recall several years ago in the second season that Drogba joined us posting on here that in my eyes Drogba could never be a legend for CFC, he had bad mouthed the club one time too many. And many posters on that topic echoed the sentiment. (I cant find the topic for some reason) And look how that turned out. He now owns one of the most "iconic" moments in CFC history with that penalty against Bayern, along with everything else he achieved. And on top of that a mentor to the younger players. My point is people change and mature, many of these players are young and spoiled in many aspects and most probably do not have level headed people around them who will speak the truth to them rather than just agreeing with whatever they think or say. Add football journos twisting every word that is said to suit their agenda and there will be mistakes. Players who just keep their head down and do their talking on the pitch are a rarity and that's not surprising. In hazard's case, its not just the sh*t season, its the apparent lack of effort that is hard to stomach for me. I haven't noticed a lack of effort on Courtois part, just some mistakes, which with how s**t our defence was for a long period, is not surprising.

Draws will not take us there, and draw is all we can manage of late.

Sadly Offside, in this day and age this really isn't the case. Most of these deals are already developing behind the scenes and will no doubt be ramped up further during the Euros.

 

I suspect many of these soundbites in the press are carefully orchestrated comments manufactured by agents to affect the mindset of the club's hierarchy. After all all of these players are under contract and can be made to see these contracts out. But who would really want a disaffected attacker or, worst still, goalkeeper being forced to stay at a club when his heart isn't in it.

 

It would not surprise me at all if half the stuff we read and see in the press is actually subtle political posturing by the agents and the club's representatives.

I want to see Chelsea recruit players who the usual football skills, but also want to show some passion for the club, and play their hearts out, and have character and are able to articulate to the press without putting there foot in it.

People like we had before.....Zola, Lampard, Drogba, Cech and many others.........not idiots such as Courtois and Hazard.

FFS........We shouldn't have try to keep players who are only interested in themselves and shown their true colours on the pitch by playing sh#t for most of the season and clearly only play when it suits them and have shown for most of the season, they are not interested in rolling up their sleeves and fighting for the club. i would much rather have a large nucleus of young home grown players with fighting spirit, who are prepared to run their socks off and be grateful to Chelsea fc for giving them the chance,

 rather than a bunch of Hazard and Courtous type players who when interviewed by the media come across as being egotistic deluded Belgium Idiots !

These so called big stars at Chelsea signed a contract earning millions of pounds and should do their utmost best to honour the contract.

Although we know, they only joined Chelsea because .......1.) the massive money and 2.) they thought they could just turn up and win trophies without putting in much effort.

Quite frankly I will be happy to see the back of most of them.
