Bit bored so I looked on owls talk and their fans didn't seem that impressed. Seems they've strengthened midfield and he didn't look like he was going to get much time.

Think this is a good thing. We have left players out on loan, not getting games before. It might be because Jose and the team don't see any value in him not getting game time and are keen to help him progress. 

Good. I don't know why some teams even bother to take a loanee. It's the same with atsu. I would personally send them to a team that would need them, such as a team lower down.

Not the first time we've seen one of our lads go out on loan only not to receive little or no playing time. 

 

Is Baker eligible to go out on another loan as I know there are restrictions on how many teams a player can transfer to during a season.

I think he's been registered with the max amount of clubs now so maybe not but still better he's with us then warming there bench.. Honestly see no value in a midfielder like Barker being there

Could've used him in the Under-21 match against United. Not sure how much future he has here but two-footed players who can deliver near-perfect set-pieces are very rare.

Anyone know how he performed when he actually got to play? Would have been fun to see Lewis develop into something as he is one of those true academy players we have, not just a huge talent we bought at 17/18. Dont have the highest of hopes though, never struck me as a player with enough ability to make it on the highest level

I think his first couple of cameos went okay, there was a load of people saying he would be on the scoresheet in the match day forum on owls talk. But I think he struggled to make an impact against reading and there was a bit of discontent. Their fans were comparing him to barkley, but the general consensus was although he looked promising, he was as developed physically as much as barkley when he went there, and it meant he struggled to take control of the game.

The championship is a physical league, so I think it would be better if he bulked up for 6 months and then try again next season.

I now live near Sheffield and have many Wednesday friends who are st holders and they seemed to think he was good. They had the opinion needs to play week in week out to gain consistency. Also have u seen their pitch? It's like playing in the 80's!!!!

What is it with us loaning out top youngsters and them barely getting a game?

youth football to professional football is a big step up. 

Another promising youngster that will be mismanaged and ultimately wont amount to anything. Same with Chalobah.

Have to say this season has been a big disappointment...after looking so good last year and clearly rated by everyone at the club, he's done very little and seems to be losing his way...if he can't make an impact at sheff we'd, then cause for concern..,hopefully he does something at mk dons, but thought he'd have done more than this...could be argued he's fallen behind Ake, lofts-cheek and brown based on how Jose has used the kids this season

Came off the bench for MK Dons yesterday to play 20 minutes in their defeat to Coventry. All I can gather from the match report is that he fired a long shot over the bar.
