Eva Carneiro

Someone probably remembered this and with everything ekse going on, must have put 2 and 2 to together to make 10. (BTW - Is that Torres warning Iva that his wife is watching?)

Irrespective of everything that's happened, that hug looks very sweet and sincere.

The most amazing thing for me is that Eva compares the abuse at West Ham with Jose's tantrum. She's actively trying to force the sexism narrative, one suspects because she knows the press will lap it up and also for litigation or compensation purposes.

Money and fame, this boils down to for me, and she's lost all her dignity in the process. That statement really is a joke. "A similar experience at West Ham"? Really Eva? "Incidents such as these make it so hard for women"? Really Eva? Where is the comparison? I just don't see it. She does the cause of women no favours at all with this statement, in fact quite the opposite.

Guess what Eva? Jose has tantrums pitchside all the time, he falls out with people all the time, he criticises his own players, staff and fans all the time, he's fallen out with doctors before, and none of it was sexism, it was Jose Mourinho being Jose Mourinho.

Criticise him all you want but for god's sake don't play the sexism card as it demeans you and all those who suffer real sexism in their lives.

She's really scraping the bottom of the barrel with this one.

Well said.

Let's just replace her with that medic from that Russian team who was pictured in a Chelsea shirt a few weeks ago.

Oh I thought some of the WH statement was a spoof! So why didn't she complain at that time?

She wasn't bullied. And the club have had strict social media rules for years. Even if its intentions were good all it did was stir the pot and make things worse.

It was a bully allright, even more so when someone said it wasn't..

Ya may have a point with that breaching strict social media rule but only if she uses it to vent her anger with it which it wasn't the case.. If it were me, I would have probably done a lot more than just a thanks note.. I think some people underestimate the effect of getting embarrassed in public..

I can't believe I find myself in complete agreement with you here, Bola, in spite of your continued use of YA instead of YOU!

As for Eva (to CFCCAN - whom I usually agree with) taking a bottle of wine to Jose - did she call his mother a whore?  I think not!!

If you want to insult me, insult ME, not my mother.  If he had said that to me I would have replied with a fairly comprehensive list of insults to him, but not to his mother, who I am sure is/was as pure as the driven snow.

Have we had the speech expert's transcript of what Eva said? Her facial expression suggests it wasn't along the lines of, 'good times today boss'.

How do you know he did that?

How do you know he did that?

Has anybody denied that he used the expression "filha di puta?"  It seems to be the one consistently repeated phrase.

All the charges are dropped we should just move on.Jose should move on and Eva should move on,she is now probably the most popular doctor in the world. She won't be long without a good job so as soon as this story f**ks off the better.

pride cometh before the fall.

That support she was thanking were people slamming her boss and employer. I know she isn't exactly a rocket scientist, but surely a doctor is smart enough to figure it out

Just because you thank people for support, doesn't mean you are speaking out against your boss. It's ridiculous, and hardly undermined Mourinho. Unless there was something more to it behind the scenes.

She thinks she's a minor celebrity and not just a doctor. Don't see many nhs doctors thanking people for support on face book.

Genuinely don't mean to be rude, but some might say - not many NHS doctors are seen to be publicly berated by their bosses on international television, for just doing their jobs.

I suppose she is held up as some sort of pin-up for young females to follow, so there is that too.

Not many NHS doctors are on TV every week.

They just tend to be sacked for highlighting issues around patient care.

what do ya expect her to do then? just take the abuse as good as it comes and act like nothing happen?

In this modern world, people don't tolerate tryrannism... jose acted like a tryrant over the saga which is not welcomed by the players..
