Eva Carneiro

Truly, Zola, the expression "filha da puta"  is much much more offensive in Latin languages than son of a bitch is in English (or do I mean American?)

When we watched footie in the Canaries the filthy insults were accepted, encouraged. We were a bit shocked until we acknowledged that our point of reference is modern Brit pc.

Some people really like rubbing it in with cases like racism, sexism etc... geez... if they so much wanted to be treated as the same then why the f**k keep playing this sexism/racism card as soon as they're at the receiving end??

the ferdinand, that psg black guy fan and now eva case.. I totally behind eva here for that unfair ridiculous unreasonable treatment but just leave the sexism cry away.. The focus should be where the focus is..

If anything, the outcry since Eva has gone will put more people off from hiring women in the game...have any sort of bust-up, which happens all the time with the men employed, and face weeks of investigations, moaning and lawyers...who wants or needs that?

So after listening on sky to heather rabbatts moan on and in about the fa, the organisation she works for, about this great injustice Eva has suffered - at no point does she recognise fact she may have been demoted for speaking out against her effective boss on social media rather than for treating hazard - sky then report sources at fa say they approached Eva through her lawyers to provide evidence and they didn't hear back...meanwhile fa brought in independent Portuguese academic linguist and they didn't find he used sexist language

Greg dyke is a f**king moron.

Did he even mention the male medic?

Sure, as soon as Greg Dyke apologizes to Eva and all women interested in football about the fact that the FA have done little to nothing to eliminate sexism from the game or advance women within the industry.

If I was Roman I'd have Mourinho, in the next news conference, make it clear that the club is bewildered why the FA feels the need to add their input on this situation but said absolutely nothing when Eva was suffering sexist abuse from a stand full of MUFC fans.

Wouldn't that be sweet Barry I'd love it.

She has milked this ridiculously quite pathetic really, Jon Fearn meanwhile has said nothing says a lot about their intentions imo.
I don't think she has milked it. I can't even remember her saying anything about it .

It should have been forgotten after the game, it was José who continued it by going on national TV and slagging off the medics.

The sexism claim is ridiculous. José was daft all thru this, and compounded it with the comments about medics not knowing the game, it should have stayed within the club, he widened it out and made it a national talking point.

Mourinho broke no rules but should apologise for "a failure of personal judgement"

Terry broke no laws but should be banned "on the balance of probabilities"

How about the FA stop trying to be a law unto themself.

Greg Dyke is bloody twat.

Absolutely cherry picking that one scene between Eva and Jose while he conveniently ignores the fact that Jon Fearn was also present.

Can't believe he actually talked about stuff like equality and all those BS.

He might as well say Jose is the cause of all sexism in football instead of the FA.

Just to rip off an old Stalin quote

A single manager yelling criticism at a woman is harassment and abuse,

A whole stadium yells it and it's just banter.

I'd be surprised if anyone at the FA or PL claimed that that abuse was "banter"_ not unless they wanted the bullet !

no, much better to ignore it and pretend it didn't happen....but is that really any better in dealing with it?

The FA are criticising Mourinho for sexist behaviour for something he said in the heat of the moment? When did the FA became such a beacon of equality?

This is the organisation that has, if im not mistaken, just ONE female representative? An organisation that is almost entirely made up of white middle class males, and historically always has been?

Maybe if they decided to provide a few more opportunities for women to have a voice and some influence in the game, then they could justify preaching on the subject of equality in the English game? 1 token woman on your panel does not make you a 'diverse organisation'. Nor does appointing a group of 'ethnic' individuals to discuss racial issues whenever they feel that they become relevant. An organisation such as the FA should lead from the front and provide a voice and a platform for minorities BEFORE these incidents arise if they wish to be the bastion of morality in such times.

In other words, Get your own f**king house in order before you criticise our club Dyke!

Chelsea actually incorporate our women's team into the club far more than many other football clubs, and as such show a greater passion and dedication to the women's game than 90% of English football clubs, and certainly more so than the FA, our Governing Body!

Oh yes, I'm shaking in my shoes. Don't be pathetic. I told you why I was holding off on forming an opinion. I'm not going to bother repeating that, you don't want to listen, only to yourself.

Dyke really shouldn't be criticising our manager if he hasn't broken any rules.

How Jose chooses to manage, and the decisions he makes, are his prerogative so long as they're within the rules of the game.

Dyke shouldn't be telling him what to do.

He has overstepped the mark.

I find it laughable that there were calls for Jose to be punished for swearing at a member of his staff on the touchline.

Who's going to want to employ a woman knowing that if you treat them as you would a man you'll be slaughtered.

All these rent-a-gobs are causing women in football immeasurable harm.

I think the FA need to concentrate on getting footballing matters right tbh, getting sick of the media dictating what they do.

Also would the media be making as much of a fuss were this Arsenal or United, somehow I doubt it.
