Everyone performed well, it was a great team performance. Some excelled more than others and before he was taken off to preserve our lead once Wenger went all attack, he was playing very well.

Disagree, not everyone pkayed well in that game and KDB a certainly didn't

Really? Christ, didn't know that. People really do some daft things at times

Yet they play together for Belgium...

This is Bull sh*t! It didn't happen! He didn't sleep with de Bruyne's girlfriend.

Can people stop spreading this rubbish, his sale had nothing to do with this.

Kevin de Bruyne's ex-girlfriend Caroline Lijnen reveals she cheated on him with Thibaut Courtois after he had an affair with her former best friend

He certainly have the mentality for a high level in Europe, Chelsbear.

And next year in the Champions League, will be a next step for him.

I have seen a very good KDB against Inter. He just did what he's doing the entire season in Germany. Inter was 0-1 in front and then he took his team by the hand. That was impressing. That is his quality nowadays. More then the two goals and the assist.

To fight for his place, is no longer the question. The question now is if he can do what he shows in Wolfsburg, for Man. City of for Bayern Munich?

Personally, I hope he'll stay in Wolfsburg.

It's a nice, strong team with exciting football.

But that belongs for another topic and has nothing to do with Mister Mourinho and his transfers. My apologies.

Perhaps you should do that too, AsianBoy?

Or ask Thibaut if it's true.

I didn't say it didn't happen.

It was never a choice between the two of them because any "problems" between them were long resolved before his sale.

I'm going back to my little corner now.

I'm searching a millionaire. Or billionaire.

Man sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. Then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies never having really lived. Can you prove your argument ir are you talking at your arse?

That they both regularly play in the Belgium national side together means I'm mire inclined to side with Remondez than you.

To jump in a bit late on the De Bruyne debate - I thought he was a great player on form, but a passenger when things weren't going for him.

I'll always stand up for a player on an off day if they put in a shift, but I don't believe De Bruyne had the character for it.

It'll be interesting to see his career develop, if that maturity will come. I don't believe he was ready for the step up, but perhaps he was too entitled to wait, it's a shame but I guess this one wasn't to be.

Did you even read the article you posted? It's right there.

Speaking to Story Magazine in April last year, press officer Stefan van Loock said: 'We don't deny that there have been private problems between Thibaut Courtois and Kevin De Bruyne.

'But I've talked to both of them and they both confirm this case is closed for them. They have finished the quarrel. The guys talk again to each other and they even make jokes again.

'It's true the national manager has talked to both of them about the case. But it never has had any impact on the Belgian national team. It's a shame this case has gone public.'

Just realised that I've probably missed something about the Kevin De Bruyne story in Chelsea. I don't understand why some Chelsea fans mention his character. I think (see also page 4, Spadefx) that his character is really his greatest quality right now. The guy never gives up. Everyone wants a guy like Kevin in his team, I guess. I've seen all the minutes he had played in Chelsea. Thought there was no problem with his character.

Perhaps, someone can explain what has happend.

But please, write it in the KDB topic. Thank you. I'll always give an answer.

When comparing him to the other players in his position, e.g. Willian, Hazard, oscar, etc... one the occasions De Bruyne played for us, he didn't seem to put in much effort defensively.

Perhaps there's an element of being a big fish in a smaller pond in Germany.

He's one of the key players, a leader on the park, and it's really up to him to impose himself in a game.

At Chelsea he was tasked with a job to stick to. His leadership qualities would've been welcomed come the time, but there were already a lot of big personalities around him.

It may simply be that he never got the chance to impose himself as a leader, and struggled to adapt to being a squad player.

Like I said in my earlier post, I don't think he was ready, yet he was too big a talent and a character to be a loanee.

Ok. Thank you, Spadefx! And gratulations with your new thread. That"s a very interesting one.

This is fair enough for me.

Meanwhile, the Italians know the big fish too. There are some new rumors. But that is not interesting on a Mister Mourinho and his transfers thread.

And! Coincidence. I found a video on the Belgian press, some ten minutes ago.

Now we know the reason.

I will explain it in the KDB thread.

How many of our 2005/2006 title winning team did Jose actually sign?

He inherited Cech, Gallas, Terry, Lampard, Joe COle, Duff, Robben, Makelele, Gudjohnsen.

He signed Drogba, Essien, Ferreria and Carvalho.

I'm struggling to think of anyone else over the 3 and a bit years who he signed that was any good.

His signings the first time around weren't the best. There were a lot of poor ones. I remember thinking b this was one of his weaknesses by the time he left. But Costa, Fabregas and Matic have been excellent so far, and Zouma looks great, too. Schurrle was a decent signing, but it hasn't worked out there.

Overall, I think his signings have been good so far.

Willian, Schurrle were club targets before he arrived as well, if I'm not mistaken.
