Well Remy just posted a video of himself on Instagram showing water rehabilitation so clearly he's not match ready, but I'd like to know what the injury is and how long he's likely to be out.

Don't understand this logic.

When it gets to the point where your third striker is fit but you choose not to use him it's clear having him here in the first place was a mistake. He started ok but has struggled so many times when we've called upon him, I love drogba he's an absolute hero but ill be screwing if he is still playing here next year.

If Didier is not fit to start then we had little choice fair enough.

In all honesty I would sooner see Brana used up to. Would be a pain in their sides and we know he is a goal threat.

However as normal I will trust in Jose. I am sure we worked at this all week.

Drogba has been injured this week and had to pull out of a charity game because of it.

 

He may be a spent force on the pitch but he shows leadership and immense workrate, setting a good example for his teammates.

 

Behind the scenes also, he's probably an asset, and helps instil that winning mentality in this team.

We need to get Hazard on the ball.

 

Edit: Previously when we've played without a striker under Jose, the guy up top has seen precious little of it.

Have to wait and see what happens with this one, a lineup without a striker scares me a little but if Drog hadn't been a 100% all week then I guess it makes sense.

Could be Fabregas as a false 9?

Essentially a three man midfield of Ramires, Matic and Oscar to keep it tight and press with Willian and Hazard operating in the wide areas?

Will be interesting to see what happens, Hazard was false 9 against Juve but he's better now and we have Jose now as well, Fabregas has experience as false 9 though so I expect it to be him.
