Sam Allardyce says to call chelsea boring is a disgrace

Featured Replies

I always liked Big Sam. Hope he'll get a chance to manage a decent team.

Though I like 'Arry too simply because he's entertaining, so my judgement my not be compatible with everyone :)

Very classy move from Big Sam. I think there's a mutual respect between him and Jose despite Jose whining about the '19th Century football' that they didn't play when they held us to a draw (we should've scored, we didn't, our fault, well done Sam).

I think this is an opinion that would be echoed by most managers in the league and most pundits and writers who know their stuff. I think we can put those who disagree into two camps, morons and twats (Stan Collymore goes in both obviously).

Gary Neville had very similar sentiments yesterday too. Goes to show people who actually know football don't share the blinding jealously of the bitter arsenal fans.

Nevills point was very good, pointing out that the last team anyone should be criritsicing is the one 13 points clear. Maybe other teams should be looking at how the can give us a better challenge next season (nevs words)

To call any football team boring, and really mean it, is stupid anyway. It shows a total lack of appreciation for the game.

I can understand it being chanted to wind up opposing fans but beyond that it's just a stupid thing to say.

It sums the media up that they give ANY attention to a moronic chant from a bunch of petty, jealous, ignorant, sanctimonious whingers. As I said on another thread, does this mean they'll now start debating whether we are in fact a bunch of rentboys as alleged in another moronic chant?

People go ona bout the goals but if Costa wasn't crocked for most of the second half of the season we'd have had plenty more.

I wish a journo would have pointed that out to Arsehole Whinger today when he said they would have pushed us harder if it wasn't for their injuries.

I agree with Wenger.

Except he's been saying that for over a decade.

Every single one of their 'star' players follows the same cycle. Reyes, Van Persie, Ozil, Fabregas, Cazorla, Giroud, Ramsey and now Sanchez. Every single one of them starts and finishes seasons strongly but misses a massive chunk in between.

Something that repeats itself over ten years isn't called luck. It's called a pattern.
