December 8, 201510 yr Ive given up on the walking dead. Sons of Anarchy is unbelievable, ive only just started season 4 and I am still enjoying it All down hill from season three sadly Currently watching Community, surprisingly very funny.
December 8, 201510 yr If you watched Breaking Bad then Better Call Saul is a must see.Seen it, loved it. Saul was easily the best character in Breaking Bad so yep - agree.d - Fargo, yes read good reviews on that, will check that out.
December 10, 201510 yr All down hill from season three sadly Currently watching Community, surprisingly very funny. Agreed. I just had to finish i though, even though I wasn't enjoying it anymore. The seventh and final season is absolutely ridiculous. I'm watching season 3 of the Scandinavian crime drama, The Bridge. It's on BBC iPlayer for those of you who haven't seen it, though I advise you watch seasons 1 and 2 first. It is brilliant.
December 10, 201510 yr Currently watching Community, surprisingly very funny. What season are you on? I'm on 4 and it's pretty poor. Nowhere near as funny as the 1st two seasons. There also hasn't been anywhere near enough John Oliver since season 1/2. Edited December 10, 201510 yr by Adam
December 10, 201510 yr Started Daredevil this week. It's pretty good, far more gory than I was expecting.
December 11, 201510 yr The Bridge Series 3. Great stuff. I hope you mean the original, not the US remake. It's a poor imitation really.
December 11, 201510 yr Oh god, of course the original. Check out Forbrydelsen if you haven't seen it yet.
December 12, 201510 yr The Man in the High Castle. If anyone else had got Amazon Prime, I'd recommend it. I'm gripped.
December 13, 201510 yr The Man in the High Castle. If anyone else had got Amazon Prime, I'd recommend it. I'm gripped. I've recently ended a serious Sopranos binge and this is the show which has attracted me most in the post-series (i.e. a lot of King of the Hill) period. Is it as good as the adverts make it look? Edit: I know you like Muse but I'm trusting your taste here. Edited December 13, 201510 yr by PloKoon13
December 13, 201510 yr I'm finding it to be enjoyable enough but it doesn't leave me desperate to see the next episode like the best TV drama does. I think I like the idea behind it much more than the execution, which is what I thought of the book too despite being a fan of Philip K Dick generally.

Just finishing up season three. I expect it will decline in quality at some point but 50 or so episodes in and there's been very few poor episodes so not bad going.
December 13, 201510 yr I watched Jessica Jones on Netflix and thought it was a bit sh*t. Considering how great Daredevil was this was such a let down. Didn't find Jessica a particularly good character, the show seemed quite inconsistent with the extent of her powers. The story itself was full of conveniences just to keep the story going. A flimsy morale code being the only reason the story didn't end within 5 episodes but was instead stretched over 13 with one sub plot in particular feeling painfully tacked on.
December 13, 201510 yr Author Jessica Jones, tbh I liked the first two episodes but since then it's kinda boring. My mate said its on par with Daredevil, I don't think it's a patch on DD
December 13, 201510 yr I've heard mixed things about Jessica Jones, some people say it's great and others say it's disappointing. The best sense I can make out of it is that it starts off very strongly but falls off a cliff later on in the series. I might watch it if I run out other good shows to watch, but since I'm already pretty bored with all this Marvel stuff that's unlikely to be any time soon. Another Netflix show that I am really enjoying is Asiz Anzari's (aka Tom from Parks and Rec.) Master of None. Very funny, clever and well observed. Edited December 13, 201510 yr by bluedave
December 13, 201510 yr Author If you don't mind slow paced TV shows then I think you'll probably enjoy it.

Is it as good as the adverts make it look? Edit: I know you like Muse but I'm trusting your taste here. I'm totally hooked, it's quite harrowing at times (The 'oh, that's the hospital' scene was shocking and you'll know what I mean when you see it) but I'm really enjoying it. I still don't fully understand what the whole objective is but I'm hoping that unravels itself as the season develops. As for Muse, you'll come round eventually!
December 22, 201510 yr Just finished the third season of BBC4's Swedish crime thriller, The Bridge. The best thing on television by a long shot, utterly fantastic. Saga is a brilliant character. Gave up on Jessica Jones after about four episodes. Dull. Not even in the same league as Daredevil.
December 22, 201510 yr Just finished the third season of BBC4's Swedish crime thriller, The Bridge. The best thing on television by a long shot, utterly fantastic. Saga is a brilliant character. Gave up on Jessica Jones after about four episodes. Dull. Not even in the same league as Daredevil. ;) Check out Forbrydelsen, another fantastic Danish crime thriller. It's called The Killing on BBC4. I also liked Den som draeber (Those Who Kill) and Borgen.
December 22, 201510 yr The Killing was the first popular Scandinavian murder drama in Britain. But I think the Bridge is even better. I'm a bit behind but love Saga. Such great acting.
December 23, 201510 yr I think I had the BBC version downloaded :) I loved both, I'm not sure if I could pick.
December 23, 201510 yr American Horror Story is a guilty pleasure of mine. Kinda liking the new series, an episode or two behind, need to catch up. Shame the main twist of the series is a bit obvious. Also a bit torn on Lady Gaga. On one hand she's put in a good performance but on the other hand, it's obviously a character being written for a diva or someone looking for a PR/Vanity boost: Everyone admires her, fears her and respects her, she's beautiful, stylish and the most important character in the show and always betters the characters she comes into conflict with. It's a fairly blatant Mary-Sue.
