Barcelona relying on the ref to send a player off to get them out of trouble has been going on for years. It's happened to us a fair few times.

Drogba challenges Valdes for a 50/50 ball, they clash, Valdes rolls around like a big baby, Drogba gets sent off.

Messi and Del Horno clash, Messi look's at the ref and starts rolling around like a baby, Del Horno gets sent off.

Terry taps Sanchez with his knee, Sanchez rolls around like someone has stabbed him in the back, Terry gets sent off.

When Barcelona are struggling, you can guarantee that they will do all that they can to get a player sent off to make things easier for them.

Great win for Shrewsbury - 2-1 down with 5 minutes to go and won 3-2!  Fantastic!  Please Chelsea win tomorrow and get them in the next round!

Can't argue with the Terry sending off. He gives Sanchez a deadleg, when the ref's back was turned. Lino spotted it and got rightly sent off. Stupid on Terry's part.

He probably would have been punished after the game and missed the next game had the ref not sent him off.

Concerning Del Horno -

Debatable. Was an aggressive challenge, nowhere near the ball.

Messi made a meal of it and it wasn't preventing a goal scoring opportunity.

Have to look at it from both ways. Imagine if somebody kicked at Hazard like that. Especially after he worked so hard to retrieve the ball.

Wouldn't surprise me to see a few people on here calling for a red.

That being said. I despise Barca for all their antics and blatant cheating.

And you are right. They've never defeated us 11 vs 11.

I could never decide on that Del Horno red, at the time it looked horrendous and I could understand why he was sent off. Later watching replays though he never once takes his eyes of the ball and clears it. I t was perhaps reckless but I do think it was a bit unlucky that he caught Messi.

credit to simeone for where atletico madrid are, but it always comes across as if he tries sending his team out to be overly aggressive against the superior teams who go to play football vs atletico. atletico can be very physical side when they're up against it and it results in stupid decisions that go against them, i.e. sending offs.

It might have been borderline but I believe it was justified. What makes it hard to swallow is the fact that our players rarely get the same protection from refs as Messi got there.

Juventus keep churning out victory after victory, What seemed like a relatively nice draw for Bayern and Guardiola all of a sudden feels like a flip of a coin match up, I can't see this Juventus side getting smashed at the Allianz and i can certainly see them winning the home leg, Interesting to see how the change of form can dramatically twist a match up, Even the PSG v Chelsea game looks a lot tighter and the PSV v Atletico game doesn't look as straight forward what with PSV's good form.

I hope Everton do an Everton today and are leading 4-2 with 10 minutes to go before Stones does a Stones and Carlisle equalize in the 95th minute to send the place into a frenzy and earn a replay to help them out financially.

Messi rolled around holding he's face that night. I was in the shed upper the sending off was by the mh stand it looked bad from my view but messi got him the red

And Jimmy Glass scores the equaliser.

The thick scouse twat also said he thinks Carlisle could do with more rain to help bed in the new pitch....what an absolute bellend

He really said that ??    Ffs sake what a tosser.

Another home draw for Arsenal, When was the last time Arsenal played away in the FA Cup? Then again they are sponsored by the sponsors of the cup.

Don't get me started about the naming of the most famous football competition of all time.

It's the FA Cup, pure and simple. I just about get the fact the money grabbers at the fa will pimp themselves out to the highest bidder for sponsorship but its still the FA CUP.
