Willian was an absolute g today, he's probably the frontrunner for player of the year, what a f**king hero.

But WILLIAN, he saw the light.

He got the call from Abramovich.

And off he went to Stamford Bridge.

Fantastic performance today, easily one of the (or even THE) best performing players in our squad so far.

Willian, always alert and gave the Villa defenders a torrid time when they tried to pass the ball out from the back on more than the occasion that led to the goal.

 

I don't think we learned too much about Baba today but good that he got his League debut, RLC looked fine and had a good half, it was actually quite nice to see Matic come on even so, mainly to see him looking like he usually does and having a big impact on the flow of the game.

 

Ramires done well and Fabregas did show a bit more of his passing skills although it is usually the games where we are on the back foot that he suffers.

I f**king love Willian.

Tireless worker off the ball and he was rewarded for that effort with an assist.

Also thought matic was great when he came on. He disrupted 3 or 4 attacks single handedly.

Credits to Diego for our second goal too. Showed more desire than most of his earlier games. Perhaps the red card has got him fired up.

Went with Costa, looked lively and fit. Had a hand in both goals, looked to create problems all day, much improved performance from him.
