April 21, 201610 yr I guess this is a good place to post this interview w/ Former Chelsea captain Marcel Desailly about Don Claudio. I know it's brief but still a good watch. I loved that CFC side & I loved Don Claudio as gaffer of CFC.
April 21, 201610 yr Let's not go nuts here. Likeable guy, but it's not an accident that his trophy haul in 30 years of management amounts to two domestic cups (the last of those was 17 years ago), despite managing some huge clubs around Europe. In light of the rest of his managerial career I think it's fair to say this season is Claudio's Howard Wilkinson moment.
April 21, 201610 yr Ranieri linked with the Italy job, assuming Conte comes to Chelsea: http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/649653/Exclusive-Leicester-Claudio-Ranieri-Italy-Euro-2016-Antonio-Conte-Chelsea-News Why would they offer Ranieri the job when his only job as a national team manager was an utter disaster?
May 4, 201610 yr According to Gab Marcotti, there were pages dedicated to he and Leicester in the Italian newspapers.
May 4, 201610 yr Also, both Terry and Lampard on Instagram thanking him for what he did for their careers. I laugh at rival fans complaining that we were singing "another team manager's name," as they obviously don't understand what he means to Chelsea. I also am proud that Chelsea fans in the main have seldom booed ex players when they come back to play us.
May 9, 201610 yr I expect he will get a great reception when he comes back. The team he started building has only just fallen apart for us and delivered huge success in the years after him. We can bit hope conte builds as well as he did.
May 9, 201610 yr On the Keys & Gray Show last week, they had a segment from Serie A analyst Tancredi Palmeri about how Rome loves Don Claudio. I couldn't find that one, so I have to show the one I found from the BBC ps...also on the Keys & Gray Show, they had Zola on there speak about his time working w/ Don Claudio & of course @ CFC. It was very interesting, since Zola started his career w/ Don Claudio & basically ended it w/ him @ Chelsea. I was able to find that segment of the show to share w/ you good people. May 10, 201610 yr I would love to be at Stamford Bridge on Sunday: I think it will be very special for Ranieri. My wife has never understood my lifelong attachment to Leicester City, especially as we lived in South London for over 30 years until we moved to France. You can imagine the sarcastic comments: "You drive past Chelsea when you go to Leicester for a game. Chelsea win and Leicester lose, and you do the same thing the next time you go to a Leicester match. You're bonkers you are!" She's right, of course, but then again all football fans are bonkers. But what's funny is that she's actually become interested in City this season, not because we've been winning things, but because she thinks Ranieri is so lovely! She's watched most of City's games over the past month or so, and also the Chelsea v Spurs game last Monday, which had her in tears. It's been quite a season one way and another: thanks to Chelsea for helping make it so enjoyable.

Your team did it on your own, all we did was take some points off your nearest rivals at the right moment. I think you'd have won it regardless. But nice that you appreciate the moment. It's nice that a Chelsea result will forever be intwined with your title win. I think that night a lot of Leicester fans fell in love with Eden Hazard ha ha
