Sick of these lies! Chelsea always taking Wolves North Bank is a lie!

Featured Replies

"74/80 Wolves were quite formidable at home, which was a surprise to many including Leeds (who were massacred in the South Bank 1976, cardiff, liverpool, and many others (West Ham, toe to toe action, no-one moved all match-best I've seen in the South Bank) all had tough times in there and were glad to get away"

*Leeds away were pretty w**k until the 80's. You could count their numbers on one hand at Chelsea in '75 and they only brought a few more when they beat us 0-3 in September '78*

**Yep, l can concur - September 1978: I was in the Northstand and there were hardly any Leeds, at all. From memory, I can only recall a single Leeds scarf. When the game ended, we left the stadium at the same time as the Leeds scarf chap & because he was completely on his own he was rightfully left alone. I can't recall any trouble because there was no opposition**

"Agreed we didn't go to London much apart from Arsenal in the cup 78 when you lot turned up in the clock end. There was no action there part from Arsenal turning up outside where there were minor skirmishes. Don't know what happened to your lot"

*Despite what you read Arsenal were no mugs and despite taking them at Xmas a few hundred Shed boys would never survive in the Clock End at a match we weren't playing. Many of us got out of there pretty sharpish at half time*

**Some CFC stayed to one side of the Northbank for the entire game. Arsenal knew we were there. As the game came to a close they made their move. I remember the mood of the place changing. Heavily outnumbered, Chelsea slipped away. From memory, I think we all got out intact

Where is the truth guys?

Why doesn't one of your main guys from the times, come on and tell the truth?

Why should I let it go, you guys don't, your always banging on about when you were great and what ends you took in the 70/80s, you even write books about it

So what, you were on the pitch, so were we, nothing much happened until around the streets afterwards and I certainly remember we gave as good as we got considering the amount of old bill. I don't think you did much considering your great numbers and great reputation. You should have had us away shouldn't you?

Also, you lot just can't get over the fact that you aren't rated as top dogs by anyone. N0-one ever states you as number one, from what I saw of you, I would put West Ham, Millwall & Spurs

ahead of you and that's just London. I gather it hurts but hey, that's what folks think.

Then you have Man Utd, Liverpool, Leeds, Birmingham, Forest all far worse places to go for us minor mobs then the Bridge.

Yes, I agree, we were sh*** away from the Midlands, but that's not the issue. The Issue is did Chelsea keep taking the Wolves north bank?

The answer is no. Once only when they knew it wasn't the mob end anymore, then disappeared into the cold night when the real Wolves mob came after them.

Why didn't you wait outside the South Bank for us, I can only leave that to you to answer.

The other question is what is taking an end anyway.

I would suggest it's being in at the start having removed the home fans and either being removed by old bill or still being in at the end.

Neither of this was achieved on this night. Yes, you went into the North Bank 15 mins before the end and created mayhem (women & children crushed trying to get away) but you didn't actually remove the home fans and you weren't in their at the start or end of the match, so technically it was a more an infringement of the terrace.

So come on , you big hard Chelsea men of the 70/80s where where you when we came for you?

I don't understand why someone is so obsessed with football hooliganism haha, if a couple of ‘firms’ were tougher than us back then, who gives a f*ck. It's not my era, but with all due respect, stop glorifying what people refer to as the ‘dark days of football’.

Edited by Floyd25

and we appreciate your open honesty of being the biggest coward in the stadium that game as you and your "hard men" sat and watched your most vulnerable fans get taken by Chelsea hooligans.....

Notice that he's persistently ignoring this point... not much to see here honestly, a pathetic excuse of a thread.

Oh my god, he's still going on. Grow up you big baby.

***how do u know. Wolves NEVER turned up at Stamford Bridge. It was a day off for everyone, 100% Fact. If you'd showed up then a proper comparison could be made***

***U said u did v. well against Leeds, at home in the 70s (when they definitely weren't at their 80s peak) ... fine ... but Leeds wouldn't even come to us in the 70s. So we had to go to them when they were at their 80s peak ... see pic. Yes, every single person, shed top to terrace bottom, left to far right is CFC, at Leeds. Mostly all lads ... I could post loads of similar pics but what's the point ... CFC were one of the best, back in the day ... Wolves definitely were not.

Anyway, having witnessed the shenanigans back them I'm glad it's all moved on ...
