Saw the last games from this kid at Betis. He really is doing great!  I think he has a lot of pace and also a very good dribble.Think he deserves a chance in our first team next season. Hazard---Willian---Musonda/Traore sound terrific to me! What do you guys think of him and when is he coming back from his loan transfer?

I've watched the highlights for all his games. He's by far the best player Betis has at the moment. He's pretty raw but has definitely shown signs that he could play for us next season. He has a tendency to wait a second to long to make a pass but the man can dribble and can spray a ball.

It looks like Campbell (Arsenal) for me, he's talented, but not for Chelsea

He didn't impress me last weekend against Athletic. I had the impression that he could have done more in two of Athletic's 3 goals. But then again, Betis didn't play very well that evening.

We don't exactly have players that are lighting up the league at the moment with their talent; and the talent of our recent signings in the last few windows is definitely questionable

Christ, when did everyone become so intolerant of young players?? The kid is 19 and he's starting for the first team of a relatively big club in Spain! Sure he isn't consistent, that's to be expected, but to dismiss him after three months playing for a good side as 'not good enough for Chelsea' is so arrogant, especially considering where we're sitting at the moment. I hate this 'he didn't set the world on fire and score three bicycle kick volleys in the first half, he's not good enough' mentality that seems to be going around lately, and not just at our own club. Look how ridiculously impatient United fans have been with Depay, City fans with Sterling, it's absurd. Marco Reus had his breakout season at 24 years old, Musonda has 5 years on that, not everyone can be a Delle Alli and immediately hit the ground running as a young player.

Does seem very talented, but then we knew this from his time with the U21s. Still not entirely convinced by his defensive ability, but with a system of play that doesn't rely on him tracking back I think he could well here. Like Sterling I can see his career stagnating ~25 or so, so perhaps if he's going to make it here it should be sooner rather than later. Unless Eden leaves in the summer perhaps another season at Betis would be best for him.

I think his role next season depends on how he finishes this season and how Conte views his squad. The worst thing you can do with a young player in my opinion isn't too rush them, it's to waste their momentum. Once they get into that groove where they can produce for their team, you have to integrate them into the squad. This particularly applies to Ake, but if Musonda can continue the way he's going and if Conte is given a bit of time to build the foundations of a good squad then it might be best for Musonda to come back, especially if we clear out players like Pedro and Oscar to fund purchases in other areas.

Belgian fans rate him to have a higher potential than Hazard at his age.

 

Have followed his development for a while and seen quite a few youth games too. He is easily among the top 5 academy talents right now and has a winning attitude to boot. Very likely we see him in 17-18 season on the first team.

So be it if he wants to set himself up to play for them eventually. He's not getting sold any time soon and certainly not on unfavorable terms for us. I took away his main reason for staying was he likes playing in Spain and he wants to actually PLAY

I think he's been pretty consistent considering it's his first stint playing for a first team. 

Staying at Betis for another season. Good decision imo, should get more playing time in a league and team he is familiar with. Hopefully he continues to develop
