I think that list is largely based on the players' achievements over the past year to be fair.

Ability aside, Bravo won both La Liga and Copa America (also winning the best goalkeeper award in the latter), while Schmeichel won the Premier League in what was basically the greatest upset title win in the history of English league football (and has even managed to maintain his form while the rest of the side collapsed in the new season). Courtois meanwhile, faffed around while his side finished tenth, and got knocked out of the Euros by Wales. While I think Courtois has been excellent this season, it's not a massive leap to say that the first two deserve to be rated higher for the year.

Just realized Utd haven't lost a single game in the league since we smashed them 4-0. They've had a lot of draws though.

Considering we had to listen for over 6 months after he left that it was the players who "refused" to play for him and then when his deal for United was signed we were told constantly how we were going to regret this while he sweeps all before him immediately.
