Lukaku has been really terrible tonight. Furstating for him that he doesn't get a lot of support from the midfield but he always seems To be too quick in giving up the chase and waving his arms about.

I think you can see why Lukaku is not a top striker, sure service was lacking but he is one of the worst I've ever seen for holding the ball up. 

that was sadly inevitable, Everton just couldn't get to grips with the game in the second half - they have a lot of limitations

Lukaku made Ozil look like Kante tonight with his workrate.

Can't be too mad at Everton. They beat the gooners so that's enough. We still have City vs Liverpool so our two rivals likely dropping points is good for us

Well, I think Liverpool deserved to win there, they wanted more and they played until the end. Everton really should look for better players to upgrade their squad.

Bad luck for Everton, they definitely deserved a point. Losing the GK and consequently 1 sub it's a huge blow when trying to defend for a point, the first choice GK would have at least parried the initial shot away. Lukaku is really poor when back against the goal or given little room to roam.I wouldn't pay a record fee to buy him back.

Liverpool get a sponny win from a goalscorer who is off to the acn soon and they are still six points Behind us...I'm still happy with where we're at

Well that is disappointing. Not a surprise as Liverpool always win the Merseyside derby of late but still a disappointment. Such luck is what can make a team champions. 

BBC w**kfest over Liverpool continues..,how else can you explain delaying match of the day till Monday, when they had much bigger game in City v Arse on the Sunday? Match of the day got the sh*t match they deserved tonight

One of the main reasons we have to make sure we do not drop off and allow Liverpool to walk to the title. It would make for a hard, hard year.

To be fair it was the Mersey derby, it wouldn't have happened if they were playing say Hull or Stoke.

Wasn';t a great game and Everton choked as per usual in these matches. Barkley looks like yet another English player who everyone hoped could be the new Gazza but just isn't good enough. He was poor again last night - can see why Koeman keeps leaving him out. And what a dreadful tackle - could easily have been a red card so Liverpool will think justice was done with the late goal. But didn't see anything for us to worry about.

 

 

 

Liked the segment at the end of MOTD2 when they played Blue Christmas and pointed out that the last four times we were top at Christmas, we were champions.  And then had a montage of all the wins.  Nice.

I still think Liverpool are too vulnerable defensively and perhaps complacent at times (Bournemouth/West Ham) to win the title against Chelsea, at least as we are playing right now. Losing Sadio Mane in January will also hurt - he's popped up with crucial goals for them.

I do not think the Chelsea side we've seen over the past 11 matches would have given Bournemouth or West Ham anything. 

Looking at the christmas schedule we actually have a bit of an advantage going into the game against Tottenham at WHL on january 4th.

They got two away games on the 28th and then the 1st again while we play the 26th and the 31st which should mean we will have fresher legs then them for that game. Both of ours are homegames ovbiously.

The Scouse accent is like scraping a knife back and forth across an empty plate.

Just watched last night's MOTD and Bravo really doesn't look good does he? I thought the criticism of him was another exaggerated campaign by the media but his attempts at keeping out Walcott and Willian's goal's was pitiful.

So Real Madrid's ban and fine reduced.

Shocked....said no one ever.
