July 20, 20169 yr Unfortunately I have to attend a social event tonight, therefore missing the game. I am in two minds: 1. Record and watch without knowing the score later. Unfortunately with an early work start tomorrow, this wont be till Tomorrow night. Which means no social media, news etc all night and day tomorrow!! 2. Record and watch tomorrow but keep up to date with the score online live. Its an issue i find myself in all season too. Its too hard to not know whats going on live!! HELP
July 20, 20169 yr Author I'd probably pick option 3 - don't worry about it as its only a training match. Thats not an option unfortunately!
July 20, 20169 yr If this is as serious as life gets mate, walk away with a smile on your face and the record button switched on the vcr. Life is good for you!
July 20, 20169 yr It's literally a kick about against hammer throwers. I wouldn't be worrying about missing it.
July 20, 20169 yr I can't watch full footy matches if they're not live. I say keep up with the score and watch it on fast forward later.

July 20, 20169 yr Another possibility - is there an option to record said social event? That would be preferable.
July 20, 20169 yr Your life must be pretty empty . That's the spirit. Bring the match day thread atmosphere early so it can be enjoyed before said social event
July 20, 20169 yr Complaining about the matchday thread is getting so boring.OP If it were me I'd just check the scores, but knowing the result I wouldn't be bothered if I saw the game or not.

July 20, 20169 yr Complaining about the matchday thread is getting so boring. Lol, the evil matchday thread.
July 20, 20169 yr For tonight's game i wouldn't worry. When it's competitive i do option one, although I often fast forward the bits when the opposition look like scoring to put me out of my misery.
July 20, 20169 yr Author Your life must be pretty empty . I'm being light hearted mate, cheer up! Just FYI, I had to check score.

July 20, 20169 yr Complaining about the matchday thread is getting so boring. OP If it were me I'd just check the scores, but knowing the result I wouldn't be bothered if I saw the game or not. Only because the MDT is for the bereft of reason and fun...
