February 4, 20179 yr Loved this line from Joe.co.uk " This unity of purpose drove them to victory against an Arsenal side who, it should be said, showed they too could play for a common cause, even if that cause was only the pursuit of collective failure once again. "
February 4, 20179 yr Nice to see the gooners bottle it all over again .....whenger by the way the definition of insanity is.... thoroughly entertaining master class of how to dispose of a title rival thought every player was on it and the team ethos is what's making the difference over the rivals Hazards dribbling and goal was sublime ........ Fabergas is magic etc etc Burnley away - tough game but confidence breeds confidence
February 4, 20179 yr after watching these scenes I am having Blue Dreams - I want to make my Blue Mecca again

February 4, 20179 yr What annoyed me a bit was that their goal came across as a bit of a protest about the fact that they were being destroyed even though they too had good opportunities throughout the game. And yeah, I would say they did a deserve a goal. But our victory was still very deserved, on the whole. I would say Courtois deserves some high praise today, doesn't he? He was superb once again and he does make a difference with regards to that massive lead of ours. 2017 could be the year in which he will challenge Neuer for Goalkeeper of the Year.

I remember your really cool picture of you at the Shed Wall. Probably a few years back now wasn't it?

Just come back from our local - one of the regulars just said "look at the the grin on her face, still smiling cos Chelsea won". Yep. That's me. New barmaid (remember I'm in Shropshire) - from London, Chelsea fan. Used to serve Dennis Wise in a pub in west London. Ah happy days.
February 4, 20179 yr Very good analysis by the Telegraph that highlights how superior we were today. I love it! Also very sad image of Cech looking back in reminiscence after the 0-3. Sad to see you suffer Petr! Fabregas has no such problems, by the way. Edited February 4, 20179 yr by PythonLu

Your blabbering bullsh*t and off the back of a 3-1 win against Arsenal it's just embarrassing to read. Shut up and enjoy the win. Bit harsh. He is expressing an opinion. Personally I felt we could have easily had a 6 - 1 victory today if Costa had been a team player. Yes, he has been great this season, but today reminded us of what he was like practically every week last season. And that is not a good thing.
February 4, 20179 yr I'll never tire of watching Hazard's goal from today. I think we will be talking about it for years. Amazing.
February 4, 20179 yr Maybe I'm been harsh but watching MOTD I think Tibo should have saved Giroud's goal. Wenger moaning about the first goal, no way is that a foul. That Hazard goal man I can't stop watching it! Just a quick reminder remember when Klopp said that we must be frustrated that we won 13 in a row and we were only 6 points ahead of them Edited February 4, 20179 yr by Bobbywoodhogan
February 4, 20179 yr Another quote from Joe.co.uk Theo Walcott in general Almost a micro version of Arsenal's overall hype. Scores a couple of goals, shows off his pace two or three times and this is it: he's finally arrived. This time is different - that sort of thing. Inevitably falls short and disappears into oblivion before the next season of hope comes back around. Exactly right!
