The truth is the new stadium will take priority and we will just have to tough it out for a few seasons while crossing our fingers hoping to grab a CL spot with a few minor tin-pots on the way to hoodwink us fans. If anything the stadium funds are already allocated and the more successful we are the more money we make, it pays to win on the pitch, stadium will not inhibit our desire I don't think and conte don't hang around for 4th place targets and the club know this

TBH I am not holding my breath over any blockbuster deals this summer including Sandro.
July 9, 20179 yr We were never in for Sandro. It was just paper talk. Can confirm, as I am a Football Agent. So what do you know?
July 9, 20179 yr Juventus chief fixer, Beppe Marotta, has stated that Sandro has been offered a 75% + increase in pay from €2.8m to €5m. Nonetheless, he is quoted as saying that the club will respect his wishes if he insists on leaving and that would be conditional on any club paying €80m (£73.5m)

Can't see it anywhere. Can you provide a link?
July 9, 20179 yr Just now, Spandau Billy said: It was in an interview on RAI Sport yesterday afternoon. How come no major (or minor) news outlet is carrying it?
July 9, 20179 yr This seems to be dragging on a bit now, must admit I'm starting to lose confidence we'll get this done. Juventus have reportedly 'cooled their interest' in Danilo, someone who we're after too apparently and rumours Juventus may also be in for Keita Balde. If we sign Danilo and/or Keita I think it's increasingly unlikely we'll sign Alex Sandro.

They cooled their interest in Danilo because they have only one non-EU spot left in their squad and they've decided to use that for Douglas Costa instead and they've almost got that deal wrapped up.
July 9, 20179 yr Read a blurb that states Juventus raised their fee for Sandro to 75 million euros. Shades of Koulibaly here. Is the board going to leave this hanging until the final day of the transfer window and pull off another last minute buy?
July 9, 20179 yr Conte will probably walk if we fail to land this guy too. So yeah i hope we get it done.

July 9, 20179 yr I think it is very desirable for media to make news Conte being angry because we've all seen he is passionate in games. I think it is made up.

Still think there's no smoke without fire. I'll believe he's firmly staying when he signs that new contract, until then these rumours don't seem too prepositions to me. He generally never goes into the transactions details with the press especially before a deal is done. What is quite likely is that Juve will offer a new contract and will try everything to avoid loosing him this season, but as always if the player decides he wants to go and the offer is high enough the club will let him go. There is no official confirmation he wants to go though so far so we still hope he will stay.
July 9, 20179 yr Reports in Italy Juventus have raised their asking price for this guy now. A deal is looking unlikely if you ask me. The whole thing reminds me of the Lukaku-disaster.

July 9, 20179 yr Ok so Sandro door looks to have been shut. Juve now look to be keeping him. The Costa and Bernardeschi deals will be tied up by July 17th according to Marotta and supposedly they considering Inigo Martinez 26 year old RB. They need they have for an International class central midfielder and there is a rumour it is an expensive proposition. Given the funds so far committed for Costa - €5m per year on a 2 year loan, €30m for Benatia, €35m for Schick, €10m for Szczesny, €25m for a RB (rumoured to either Martinez, Cancelo or Pereira) and €45m for Bernardeschi there may still be a chance, however minute, that €75m bid would succeed in prising Sandro away from Turin to facilitate a large bid for their CM target. I do not think that we Sandro's decision will be dependant on the purchase of the CM, most of those deals are in instalments, Benatia costed 18 and Shick 30.5 (only 8 this year), on the other hand we also spent 35 millions on Cuadrado and 2 other players while getting 50 millions for Coman, Zaza, Neto and a couple of youngsters. So up to 50-60 millions investment we should be ok without needing further resources and we still have Rincon and Lemina for sale that are worth about 25 millions. It will all depend on Sandro's decision, if he does not accept our new terms (still lower than Chelsea's) then he will not be sold this year.

He is already the most expensive defender in the world 70 million is silly but I want him that bad and after all it's not my money, after the Lukaku situation they may be willing to spend 10 mil more to save face but will that impact on who we get upfront? Shouldn't what's 10 mil in context...

So far there is no indication other than rumours that Sandro has requested the transfer and hopefully for us he won't because having to deal with two unexpected top transfers in the same window would be really tough for juve
