People were saying a lot of things for Lukaku, but he never wanted to be a subs, while Morata is accepting that.

To me that is not the guy who can reach and improve to the very best.

Lukaku was a very hard blow.

Zidane doesn't want him to leave and Benzema is on a decline, he knows the league and the fans love him. Not a bad decision at all for all parties involved. Why would he even make a ruckus at the club that gave him his debut? 

I'd love the idea of having PEA, the guys fast and has great finishing (don't know why people believe he misses a lot of chances, has got one of the best goals per shot ratios you'll find).

Lukaku's first touch will betray him at a top club, though he's still a good striker, just not a great one.

Belloti has got a ridiculous price tag, though that one simply depends on whether the Chelsea higher ups are willing to spring it, but would also be a great signing.

As for morata, he has a great goals per min ratio, and seems to be a well rounded player. I wouldn't be disappointed with any of those three, but still prefer PEA

I agree. My only misgiving with Pierre is that his style of play is different to what we go for. If we get him then we just need to re-jig the formation again. Conte is flexible enough and the squad should be flexible enough as most of them now have played various systems.

I think an issue is that we've never really seen him play in any other style, though if conte can make Alonso and moses into title winners, he's gotta see something. But you're absolutely right

Cause he never be a regular Striker, never the main man in the attack. Never be remember as great player.

That`s why, that i said he doesn`t have that something special and never ever will become great player.

After Lukaku I was sure we would make morata happen at all costs, looks like he will stay, then belloti but it looks like AC Milan will be willing to pay more, now it's Aubameyang or no one, well No one good enough to replace Costa anyway, and I'm starting to feel we may even bring back remy to back up bats....every time we have a chance to blow away the competition or at lest cement ourselves as elite again we tank it during transfer season.

When we won in 2015 under Jose I remember Neville saying if we strengthen he can see us dominating for the next 5 years...we finished 10th picked ourselves back up and it seems instead of pushing the envelope we will make "decent signings" again and we will be left to struggle in the CL and even for top 4 the ways those round us are strengthening.

Dont get me wrong I'm quite happy with the signings I think they being strength in the spine and depth but are they too marquee signings..no. 

If replace Costa, a 20 goal striker, with bats or some disheartening signing like Llorente we will be no better as a whole than last season, now with Europe and stronger competitors.

It seems self harming, when you're on top you plant your flag not give everyone a chance to come up to displace you. I was sure we would get a striker signed now I'm not so sure, we really need to kiss and make up with Costa.

Offer him a pay rise and a loyalty bonus if he stays away from approaches for the whole season until next summer.
