June 3, 20179 yr Seen a few rumours that we are interested in bringing in Dani Alves from Juve. Still a top player even at 34 and could def do a job rotating with Moses. Would be happy with this if the right prospect doesn't become available. Whats everyone elses thoughts??

June 4, 20179 yr he's 34 and was just settling in a new country, why would he move again to another country after just one season? besides he still has a couple of years left on his contract, and he's done well this season, can't see juve letting him go Edited June 4, 20179 yr by havelschayes
June 4, 20179 yr Let's face it...it's all BS from his agent trying to get him a better deal...he only plays 50% of Juve's games and that's not exactly a hugely competitive league like ours...too old...next
June 4, 20179 yr Juve apparently looking at Conti and Alves is 34 so who knows? Would take Alves (or Lichtsteiner) personally if just for a season (or two)... Dujon Sterling will be 19 by November next year and for me looks set for a bright future (Sterling averaged 2.9 goals/assists this season). Edited June 4, 20179 yr by the special one

Sorry but its not like Conti is a prime Dani Alves is it, its not like we know he is going to better than Moses. We need a LWB more than a RWB.

Conti looks much better than Moses. And is miles ahead of Aina. As for LWB, we have kenedy and baba, both of whom are much higher in their development than aina. Hence, the priority being RWB.

Is that meant to show he averaged 2.9 goals/assists per game? If so i find that hard to believe.

Alves 2.46 Conti 2.69 Antonio 2.64 Tierney 2.86Sterling 2.91 Mendy 3.25 Alonso 4.11 Bertrand 4.25 Moses 5 Aina (total career appearances) 18.2 Edited June 5, 20179 yr by the special one

Its probably easier to show it as 11 / 32 to give a goal/assists per game ratio. I.e for Sterling it would be 0.34 goals/assists per game.

Yes, on average (for the 16/17 season) he contributed to a goal every 2.91 (or, 0.34) games. He really is a fantastic talent from what I've seen so far, I rate him that highly that I wouldn't be surprised if he bypasses the loan system altogether and proves to everyone (especially those critical that we don't give kids a chance) that if you're good enough, you're old enough. June 5, 20179 yr Would be a great backup option IMO But also the bloke is a winner and would offer a huge amount of experience La Liga: 2008–09, 2009–10, 2010–11, 2012–13, 2014–15, 2015–16 Copa del Rey: 2008–09, 2011–12, 2014–15, 2015–16 UEFA Champions League: 2008–09, 2010–11, 2014–15 Serie A: 2016–17 That winning mentality and experience would be a great asset in the dressing room
June 5, 20179 yr I thought he was excellent in the Champions League for Juve, not so much in the final though. I'm unsure on this one. He'll be 35 by the end of the season so there is a worry about his age and how well he can adapt to the league at this point in his career, but with the games we will have next season he could be a good option to have alongside Moses.
June 8, 20179 yr (Metro) Chelsea have been handed hope in their pursuit of Dani Alves after reports in Brazil claimed that the defender is ready to listen to the offer from the Premier League champions. It has been claimed that Antonio Conte has been given the chance to sign the 34-year-old this summer as Juventus continue to delay his contract extension. Chelsea and Manchester City are both monitoring Alves and while the Brazil international’s priority is to remain with the Italian champions, UOL Esporte report that the player is willing to listen to alternative options. Alves’ current deal with Juventus until 2018, although the Champions League finalists have the option to extend that for a further year.
June 8, 20179 yr I'd rather we didn't unless he's literally a one year signing stop gap because we don't think we can get a young rwb/rb to push out Moses.
June 17, 20179 yr It's looking very likely he will be leaving Juve now. Higuain said goodbye on Twitter and then removed the post not long afterwards. He's getting on now but i think he will be good being rotated with Moses for a season or two.
June 17, 20179 yr Would be a very under-whelming signing. Conti should be the player we need to go all out for.
