Yeah, but I don't buy it. None of that texting story sounded believable to me.

Don't get me wrong, Diego's a few sandwiches short of a picnic, and it was a weird thing for him and his people to come out with/make-up, but I reckon all will be forgotten come August and he'll still be wearing the number 19.

I hope he goes tbh get some good money and a younger replacement fed up of all his sh*t.

Ill be amazed if we ever see Costa in a Chelsea shirt again.

If he made it all up, then that makes this situation even worse for Costa. If he made it up, then there really would be no coming back from that.

I can see Costa staying till January when AM transfer bans ends...however, if we agree to that then they will have to stump up more than £20m for him...especially if we agree not to use in him CL...

Unfortunately, I feel this too. The c**t will make sure he gets his permanent move to ATM while we are screwed with next to nothing in the market.

He's going, just a matter of time and money involved. He's just too much of a time bomb. Even if we manage to turn it around and keep him, he will throw another tantrum within another 6 months or less. Remember, he wanted the move in January, Conte showed him the way and he stayed. Now, out of no where he just burnt his bridge with the manager and the club. He's nuts, not dying he's  the best striker we had since Drogba.

Still can't get round the guy that spearheaded 2 titles in 3 years who always said he loves the fans gets called a c**t. I really don't think that's necessary, maybe I'm just the greatful type and not so quick to turn. 

I wouldn't be surprised if Costa goes to AM now just to train with their squad pending a 'gentleman's agreement' for the money exchange in January.

Its not quick.

I did not like Costa's attitude in the last pre-season itself and was called all types of names for it, only for Costa to himself admit that he wanted the ATM transfer before they bought Gameiro.

I am thankful to him. He had 2 great half seasons followed by 2 very average half season and a pathetic one sandwiched between it. Thank you costa, but hopefully you are no where near the Bridge when the next season starts because I am tired of him.

Exactly. And Costa did not play for free. He was paid for his goals. And he is paid all the time, but plays only half season. He deserve everything and even more.

Did he care about the club, when decided he want to go in the Winter? Did he care for the fans? He sh*** in the club, and deserve all of this.

No one make this to him, he do it to himself. Only Costa to blame.

And thanks to that bi*** that want only in Atletico, we could not sell him for higher price.

So the club will lose money, and i should be thankful to him? Did i recieve the salary he get, a salary that all of us will only dream. Forget about playing for 1of the greatest team ....

I thought costa was mostly great, worked really hard, except for the season where the entire team was on go slow, scored lots of goals and created others, wasn't selfish on the ball and gave us a real point on our game. No one was ever in doubt costa was in da house.

Still I can also understand why conte has let go of him and I think he and his family never really settled in England. Also at his age he likely will soon start going a bit downhill.

On his day yeah, didn't have many though after the turn of the year did he.

Hand on heart, I'd have rather have had the 80m guy you're alluding to and not him in 2017.

He played sh*t in all those games purely because he's flat out greedy. If/when he leaves, I'll be grateful but no regret.

More the fact Costa has his head turned on a whim. 

China's money, his love for Atletico...not to mention a lot of games we run the risk of ending the game with 10 men due to his antics.

He's been a great player for us - for the large part, but I'm tired of his baggage and the circus he brings.

He's missed 12 games through suspension so far for us, a high total for a relatively short period of time.

In 3 seasons? Not really that much, 4 matches missed per season isnt that bad, especially when you take into account two of those suspensions were for accumulation of yellows and one was utter bollocks for daring to touch an Arsenal player. Its not great, but it certainly isnt that bad.
