July 4, 20188 yr Cuadrado makes me laugh. We let him go and he is doing well at Juventus winning titles and still no one gives a f**k. People miss Schurlle more than him.
July 4, 20188 yr One thing that this world cup has shown, for certain, is that England's national anthem is dire. It's so boring, it just drones on. We need something differrent I think. Edited July 4, 20188 yr by Zeta

Cuadrado wasn't suited for the Prem. It was clear everytime some random LB outmuscles him off the ball. Edited July 4, 20188 yr by Deino

July 4, 20188 yr No. Match winner against Japan. Four seconds where enough. Every football knower in Europe knows that. And now in Japan as well.

Aww bless you and your devotion.

I'm not saying that he isn't a very good player, but he really does seem to lack a big game mentality a lot of the time. Not the sort you'd want alongside you in the trenches
July 4, 20188 yr I personally think if KDB plays in an attacking role we are likely to see the match of the tournament, yet that would mean dropping one of the other big names. Does Martinez have the balls and or the squad unity to do it?
July 4, 20188 yr Man, I'd love England to win the World Cup. As an Australian who spent 7 formative years of his life in England, they're very much a second home for me. It's where my love of football started. I always drift into strong patriotism for Australia when the two nations face off, but when England is playing anyone else, I'm happy to see them do well. It's crazy how Englands half of the World Cup has opened up so much. They have a genuine chance of making a final. It won't be easy, but Sweden (and probably Croatia), are beatable. I would love to see them in a final. It would be huge. For as long as I've been alive, England has always been a nation with such high expectations, but no performances to back it up...like some sort of twisted joke. I feel like it's only been the past decade or so where England and tournaments has become a football meme. It would be nice to put that to rest. Edited July 4, 20188 yr by Cam
