Saw the two sides of him last night. Great pace to set up their goal and f**king around and giving it away on the edge of the six yard box almost conceding.

On about the same level as Zaha for me. Jimenez on the other hand, what a striker he is.

I'd buy him, surprised none of the big teams have tried to poach players from the Wolves, maybe they don't need to sell players. He's getting better with his final ball, there's a 80M player easily if he improves with a few more assists and goals.

Key is “improves”.. he is still a work in progress & needs to be worked with regularly. He also needs a manager that know where to stick him on the pitch to harness is devastating pace. For me a Mendes, Klopp, Pep are ideal managers for him, and at 23 he is way off his peak.

and you think wolves will sell their prized asset for these few days before the transfer window closes? even the players we've been pursuing since the start of the transfer window, we've not gotten them. Apart from that, Traore will want to go to the best of the best teams, not Chelsea. since Chelsea fans have convinced the board that Zaha is not good enough for them, then long may we remain without a signing.

Traore operates best when he space to use his speed. As a result I don't think he would add as much in games at home where we struggle to break down a well organized defense. He does his best work on the counter so tends to excel in games like yesterday, where he had a lot of space. I think he is a fine player but I agree with the earlier poster who suggested that Raul Jimenez would be the pick of the 2 to sign.

Outside of his pace, I just don't think he is all that great of a footballer. His end product has slightly improved, which isn't something that should be praised seeing as it was terrible for so long, but I don't think he is that great at anything and wouldn't improve our top 4 chances.

Would be worth a gamble IMO. His intelligence and end product have undoubtedly improved over time and with the right coaching I could see him flourishing in the PL.

We actually dont have lots of pace in the team, Willian is slowing down, and his never that great in running into space. CHO may get faster, but the injury has done him damage. Pullisic is probably the only fast player we have, if he's playing. In fact, if we rewind recent games, we didn't have much success in counter attack because players just weren't that fast. It's highly unlikely we will get him this window, but he's good enough for the current Chelsea team, but pace will help us win games, especially when we are trying to break down teams.

We don't seem to get many counter attacking options recently as teams normally hold back a lot of defenders when we have the ball.

For me Willian is still great at running into space and I don't see a problem either with CHO.

The issue seems more about giving them the ball in places where they only have one defender to run against.

I would prefer Zaha to Traore just think a better fit for the team as he plays down the Left, think we are covered on the Right.

Slightly improved is underplaying it. He's gone from scoring and assisting one a piece last season to currently having 4 goals and 7 assists in less games. He's contributing a goal almost once every other game now. One less goal contribution than Firmino this season.

As a winger now way, he will in my opinion never have the consistency to be a title winning winger.

Adama would be worth a gamble if wingbacks were a big part of Frank's plan, Wolves were prepared to negotiate a fair enough price AND Lamptey walks in the summer but while the former and latter two scenarios could happen at a push, the middle one never will.
