February 22, 20206 yr Giroud, Barkley, Mount as attacking options. Feels like almost every PL-team can field a stronger attack then that one.
February 22, 20206 yr I certainly would have thought that a line up featuring three centre backs would include at least one of Tomori or Zouma

It's a bit unfair to expect too much considering his lack of play time, but I am genuinely glad he is starting today. I would have personally played Tomori or Zouma over Dave. February 22, 20206 yr This lineup is odd, not having Willian start is just stupid. Plus is he just done with Kepa? Not sure why he’s still sticking him on the bench.

Making such statements is just not professional. When Kepa is playing the way he is it's understandable, he needs a kick up the ass.

February 22, 20206 yr So 3Cbs and the wide backs, interesting. Barkley probably to hold the left while Alonso goes on his forward forays.
February 22, 20206 yr I fancy Alonso to score for us today. First time we've had James and Alonso as wing backs as well .... brilliant on paper, so looking forward to seeing how that works out ...

Willian hasn't been great at all recently, he doesn't deserve to start. 1 minute ago, Sindre said: Giroud, Barkley, Mount as attacking options. I don't think we necessarily need pace up front today ... imagine we'll have most of the ball, so it's essentially 2 CAMs to join Giroud in the box as James and Alonso ping crosses in ?

February 22, 20206 yr Our gameplan appears to be to give the ball to Barkley and Alonso and hope that one of their ten shots from 25 yards out will take a lucky deflection and go in.
February 22, 20206 yr Our CFC webmaster is so pleased to see RLC back in the match day squad that he's put him in twice LOL
February 22, 20206 yr I think Lamps is saying you need the points, you come out and play! So I would expect our pressing game to be different today perhaps on the half-way line. If so a good idea, whether it pays dividends we will see.

February 22, 20206 yr When Kepa is playing the way he is it's understandable, he needs a kick up the ass. One game is a pretty good kick up the ass for the most expensive keeper in the world. 3 games is insanity.

You understand players like Willian have kept him out because he’s not on that level. He may be getting old but I’ll take Willian everytime over Barkley and his six and half years at Chelsea have shown why.
