Or am I getting you mixed up with someone else? Or, reading your post again, I might just be being dim, and misreading your point. In which case, sorry. No quite right I was dead against football coming back, and didn't feel comfortable about it at all, but things have moved on a bit in last few weeks, and if we are going back to a new norm, then introducing a few fans backs slowly and in an organised manner should be looked at maybe. I don't expect the Bridge or any other stadium to be rammed to the rafters for a long time and quite rightly so, but these up coming games at Wembley is the perfect opportunity to test things with a small number of fans in a huge stadium. Mind you will be interesting to see what happens this weekend with pubs opening. Ridiculous idea opening them up on a Saturday, reckon it could be carnage out there.
June 29, 20206 yr Won't catch me anywhere near a pub for a while yet- I'll wait for the cull of the f**kwits to sort it out for me. But you're right in a way, Wemberlee is well big enough to trial a small number of supporters. Trouble is, the surrounding area will be rammed with muppets like the scousers did last week.

As for limited fans coming back that could lead to ticketless fans turning up and tickets being sold for extortionate prices online. Might be different when the new season starts although if Winter hits hard and the R rate increases it might be lockdown again.

Think its being called Super Saturday by some media, not so super for the 43k or so or their families

June 29, 20206 yr Why do a feel least Confident about UTD? We have lost 3 times while outplaying then 3 times, what is it about them that make things difficult for us?

My prediction at season beginning was to finish fourth and to reach the semis of the FA Cup. We can beat Utd yet depends on who is fit and the system we play and they so far under Olly have done well against us.

Lady luck appears on their side. We outplay them but lose, and they are experts at counter attack football .
June 29, 20206 yr Shame we have to play at Wembley at not at a neutral ground where semi-finals should be held. League form won't matter and it should be a decent match.

I don't think we outplayed them when we lost 4-0 at the start of the season, they set up to counter us, and it worked perfectly on the day for them. The previous 2 games I would say we were about even, one of those games had some very dodgy decisions that went in favour of United when they shouldn't have though.

Even the 4-0 we dominated large parts of that game it was never a 4-0. The other 2 we dominated possession had more of the chances but somehow they come out on top, right about the decisions as well, that one was a big factor. I hope that’s not going to be a mental thing for the players now, we have beat every “big 6” team except them, logic says if we keep Dominating possession and chances we should win.
