Chelsea Women - Everything Else!

I think it’s unfair to compare the womens team to the mens, it’s obvious to all that the women are far superior footballers.

Keepers are probably the weakest part of the Women's game. That said finishing is probably the weakest part of Kova's game and I'm convinced if put in the same position with a woman in goals...Kova would have still placed his shot straight at her.

Dare I say it, Kerr's 2nd goal has shades of Drogba's goals against Liverpool and Everton!

That’s why I said, doubt Drogba could beat it for sheer quality, and audaciousness.

One of the commentators was saying, 'What do you say to Arsenal to improve.....'

'They lost just one match to Chelsea and they lose the league.'

The commentator wasn't right. Arsenal's only league loss was to Birmingham. They took four points off us but it wasn't enough. 🙂

Over 50,000 tickets have been sold for the Women's FA Cup Final on Sunday where Chelsea's women will try to retain the trophy the won in last season's covid delayed final back in December. Chelsea's allocation has sold out but tickets are still available direct from Wembley online or from the stadium on the day.

After winning the league last Sunday our confidence will be high but opponents Man City are on a 14 match winning streak including a 3-1 win over Chelsea in the League Cup final. The two best teams in the country, a packed Wembley, and 'cup final weather' forecast. Should be a great occasion. If you fancy getting along to support the girls Chelsea have been allocated the East side of the stadium and City the West. Tickets: -

Like I said is fitting the women's side delivered Roman's last major honour as our owner.

As much as the men's side have delivered a lot of silverware through some up and some down seasons what he and Emma Hayes built from the ground up with the women's side is truly outstanding.

Sam Kerr scores great goals the closest striker to Drogba we have had.

In a pre-match interview the way Cuthbert described her she has the same mentality of Drogba too.

With the investment and support he’s put in to the woman’s team it’s very fitting indeed.

Not very good first half for the women team, so far City have been dominating the match. Hopefully they manage to show the men how it is done at Wembley.

And as I was writing this, we score!! Totally unexpected and City’s keeper cocked up. But great winning mentality from the team.

City look the stronger team.

Kerr has been class almost every touch she makes.

There are a lot of 1-2-1 battles out there.

Bronze vs Reiten

Cuthbert is struggling to compete with her opposite numbers.

City very physical after conceding like Harder being flattened on the left.

Have not seen Kerr, Harder and England playing together before.

Can't call this one, yet our keeper with kicking the ball out is an accident waiting to happen.
