Surprised no one has lauded Lukaku here. De Bruyne and Hazard were excellent but both goals were created by some fantastic skill and speed (and vision) by Lukaku. Wasn't his biggest fan when he was in England but how he has matured.

Looks a different player than the one that left United. I always said he put on too much weight / muscle when he was playing for them, now that he is back in shape, he looks really good.

Lukaku was much more of a threat in the second and for me that was because KDB was there and they had more people to mark so Lukaku had more space or at least one less marking him.

Hazard was very good in finding KDB and as soon as KDB got the ball the Danes cold not tell where he would go and so one would leave Lukaku.

Suspended for celebrating a goal in a way that was deemed insulting, or even racist.

That's tough...

Anyway congrats for going to the next round :iorishLiam:

There is suggestion that the Scots will play both left backs Tierney and Robertson with one further forward.

Other pundits suggesting perhaps Reece James should start on the right to counter this.

As someone who was born in England to an English mother and Scots father I could support either team. I'd love to see Scotland win but can't see it happening. Would be nice to see Billy Gilmour and Nathan Patterson start for Scotland but doubt if they will.

Christian Eriksen has been discharged from hospital after a "successful" operation to fit a heart-starting device.

The 29-year-old Denmark midfielder suffered cardiac arrest during his side's defeat by Finland in Copenhagen on Saturday.

He visited the team on Friday and will now return home with his family.

I thought he would miss, he was still bleeding after that elbow while taking the penalty but he did the job.

England:Scotland coming up, exciting!

Be great to see Gilmour make a statement and push his way towards more Chelsea minutes.

Scotland have a good left side, but they have no chance against Reece.

Our Billy really likes his #23 squad number, doesn't he (as do Mount his #19 and James his #24). It's okay, I don't mind.

How come Steve Clarke is looking so distinguished, is it the civvies and grey hair?

I bet he’s got a lovely pair of socks on.

I don’t get why Sterling is playing when he’s been sh*t all season. This is why I don’t like international football.
