Some of Mount's passes have been perfect, but nobody has taken advantage of them.

Got frustrating as the game went on, seemed we're already running out of ideas in frustration! Scotland looked totally comfortable the last 5-10 minutes. I'd get Grealish on for Sterling, Kane is lucky there's such a big gulf in quality between himself and the other centre forwards as he has once again been totally anonymous!

Grealish and Sancho over Sterling and Foden for me. I don't rate Sterling at all. He's carried in a team full of world class players at City and Foden doesn't do enough consistently.

Germany and Portugal are nothing special. Kante would kill England though.

Yup if Southgate had any balls he would make those changes 

Standing out for me Mount for England with really good passes and wee Billy Gilmour for Scotland, controlling their midfield and tempo. Quite an exciting game!

You know we are doing badly when everyone starts calling for Jack Grealish.

Agree about Sterling,the most overrated player in the premiership and an irksome little chap to boot.

And yet he's the one to have scored the winning goal in the first group match. As long as he pulls off goals like that, he won't be dropped from the starting XI.

Mount excepted, we really do look desperately average in midfield and attack, and none more so than Declan Rice. Just can't see why we would be after him at all ...

Attack is the bigger problem here, Sterling is a bit better than he was but still not in top form, Kane looks poor as well. Get DCL on at least.

True but it was kinda put on a plate for him and he nearly fluffed it.I just don't like him.As Scott said he is surrounded by quality players with city which makes him look better than he actually is.

Foden and Sterling have been dire tonight. Either one could have come off for Grealish but the way the commentators go in about Grealish you’d think they were introducing a young Pele.
