That's great. But there's very clearly a lot of gay footballers who are afraid to be who they are. That means that they keep their private life secret out of fear.

That's because whilst JM7 doesn't give a sh*t about their sexuality, they don't know that about everyone else. They think they will get abuse for being gay. That their team mates will shun them. And they probably will in some instances.

Until we go through these steps of the "woke media" shoving their agenda of "it doesn't matter who you love" down our throats, we can't reach your nirvana of "just shut up about it already".

Well it’s for other people to defend how they react to the news. I wouldn’t treat anyone any differently because of it. There’s too much politics in sport. It doesn’t belong in sport.

Arsenal fail to get 3 points tonight and we are in the CL for sure. Can't remember the barcodes ever doing us a favour though

It would be annoying that spurs would get it though

True but at this point of the season I just want it to end asap. Hopefully spuds get it for 1 season then fall away. Not like Conte ever had success in europe anyway

I think you have to control the masses tbf. It was only about 15 years ago when I was in school that a lad came out and the same day he got battered by a crowd. Just because me and you would not react that way doesn't mean a lot of others won't.

There's probably and excess amount of attention on specific minorities in society rather than just training the population to love thy neighbour in general but that's another topic.

No surprise there. Can you imagine the outrage if that was our fans? Pretty sure it took Liverpool decades to even acknowledge any role in Heysel too. They tried to blame it on Chelsea fans initially.

Give it time mate. It will be remembered as Chelsea fans only doing it sooner or later.

Humanity will never have one mind about this. Their will always be hate in this world.

No doubt. I won't be surprised if we are somehow blamed when Liverpool fans run riot in Paris too. They are travelling ticketless in their 1000's and we know how that has worked out in the past. What could possibly go wrong?

Ah that is an easy sell, "Chelsea glory hunting fans jump on the Liverpool bandwagon and sully their good name'.

Arsenal win 5-0, lose 5-0, draw 5 all, either way I dont care. Far more interested in Huddesfield vs Luton.

So far Huddersfield v Luton has been quite lively and Luton should be 2 up at least.

Agreed. Cracking chance Trofilio made for himself though.

Colwill has looked decent, made one good challange but not massively tested.

Yeah, Colwill doing alright, and most of the Luton’s danger comes from his side but he is holding his ground well.

Here we go with the Sky Sports Arsenal commentator Alan Smith, not even hiding his bias.

Doing my head in, it's like they can do no wrong
