May 18, 20224 yr Hard luck to all our joint Chelsea and Rangers fans on here, sorry don't remember who you all are. Chelsea twice and now Rangers done on penalties and Liverpool winning the quad. Awful season. They say going first helps with pens. Now see Chelsea, Sheff United and Rangers go first and lose. Sorry lads.

May 18, 20224 yr That's four penalty shoot outs defeats iv'e suffered in 10 months since last July, Eng - Che - Che - Ger
May 18, 20224 yr When will managers learn not to put penalty takers on with a few minutes to go? No time to get their bodies or head right.
May 18, 20224 yr What happened to Ramsey? Can't get into the Juve team, can't even get into the Rangers team. Out of all the Rangers players he was the one who looked the most nervous despite probably being the most experienced on the big stages. What a bottler
May 18, 20224 yr Author To say I'm gutted at the moment is an understatement. Saying that I'm proud of Rangers. The last ten years have been a rollercoaster and given that the club was in the bottom tier of Scottish club in season 2013/2013 and played in this year's Europa League final is a great achievement. Roll on the Scottish Cup Final on Saturday. We are and always will be the people.

To be fair Roofe nailed his. 8 minutes ago, coco said: That's four penalty shoot outs defeats iv'e suffered in 10 months since last July, Eng - Che - Che - Ger 4 for me too. Though Sheff Uniteds last night is my third now Rangers 4th, don't give a stuff about England. Our teams have to stop being happy to go to shootouts we suck at them.
May 18, 20224 yr Europa Lge would have compensated for losing premier league. Not now. Scottish cup much needed but only to provide a consolation.
May 18, 20224 yr I hate how teams seem to get paralysed in extra time and forget to play with penalties looming

Chelsea always came first for me and basically because I am Chelsea and us as Chelsea fans and our players were not welcome in the national set up, always blamed for things not going right, media being after us etc. I lost any love I had for the national side and international football long ago. Though I do have some back seeing a national actually pull together as Canada did for their men's side this world cup.
May 19, 20224 yr I really don't want to comment on penalties. We've had enough of them this season alone. Apart from that I thought Rangers put in a great performance today, and their support was phenomenal. Was an entertaining game and either side could have won before penalties. I really thought Ryan Kent had won it at the end too. Some impressive performances from Rangers players. Bassey and Kent both impressed me in particular. Hope the Gers can bounce back with a win in the Cup to end the season.
May 19, 20224 yr A very hard defeat. Both teams gave everything. Both sides had chances to win it. I too thought Kent was going to score the winner at the end. Bassey had some game is only 22 ! For Rangers to be anywhere near, never mind playing in a European Final, after the going into administration in 2012 is amazing. Edited May 19, 20224 yr by erskblue

Bassey would be a good rüdiger replacement… he has that same sort of power and I feel like he can become a leader too. He seems to have that sort of personality that we are lacking in. And rangers also played 63 or more games this season so he will be used to that. Of course the Scottish league is not comparable with the premier league but he has proven himself in the Europa league too. And he’s only 22, imagine what he can learn from 1 season with Thiago Silva…. im not claiming he is at this moment in time as good as rüdiger but he has the potential for sure & if we don’t get him I think another English team will take him and then we will end up wanting him and have to pay 80 million or some ridiculous amount. We are losing maybe 3 defenders and if I’m not wrong bassey has also played as a full back so he could potentially also feature if we want to switch to a back 4. Really a perfect signing in my eyes Edited May 19, 20224 yr by azpi28
May 19, 20224 yr Author Calvin Bassey is a great player at both left back and in central defence and I reckon could do a good job in midfield. He has been good all season and I think that a lot of clubs will try and sign him. I hope he stays at Rangers but if he does leave would be more than happy to see him at Chelsea.

If we discount Gilmour it has been a long, long time since we did business with a Scotish side to bring a player here. Could those old ties be reformed?
