At 22yo surely this is a no brainer of a transfer we should be interested in. 
Has carried Burnley for years with his dead ball speciality and works hard off the ball. Can even play wing back!

He's good, but don't we have bucket loads of these kids that don't get a game here. Is he better than half the youngsters we have out on loan. Just playing devil's advocate.

What happened to that Anjorin lad for example

If we are looking at anyone from Burnley, it should be Cornet. No thanks to anyone else.

Agreed, he’s been the one stand out player at Burnley for a few seasons. Being able to play a number of positions is a big plus.

Going on loan, possibly Huddersfield 

Could be like signing another Damien Duff.

If it is only Palace and the pikes interested why would we be even considering him ? We are looking to challenge the top 2 .

I have always been impressed with McNeil when I watched Burnley. It remains to be seen if he could make the step up in a bigger team though. Cornet does seem to be a more logical option for us as he can cover wing back. McNeil seems more suited to a forward role.

So long as he's a heck of a lot better than Dwight McNeil.

He is the kind of signing Klopp will make but they are stacked in the middle of the park.
