It looks like nagelsman case is kinda similar to what happen with us n tuchel

Except that they replaced him with an equally capable manager.

Boehly's probably watching that and thinking all the soup needs is a bit more salt and pepper 🙂

Whoever comes up with these memes..... absolutely genius in their depiction of foolishness.

That's the only way I see Boehly when I consider him sacking Tuchel AND his replacement is the individual currently in charge.

Interesting that paying Leipzig a €25m compensation fee for Nagelsmann has been no deterrent at all to the Bayern board taking ruthless action in dispensing with him for Tuchel.

I hope Boehly is paying attention !

Well Boehly might be a fool but at least he's our fool. A foolish Chelsea owner.

A foolish Chelsea owner that at least is ensuring stability however foolishly steep the price of mediocrity to achieve it is.

You reckon good old, sorry young man, Potter could snag a top job like Tuchel after he gets the heave ho?

Should be easy right? After all he's a top British manager with Chelsea on CV.

Let's see if Boehly and Eghbali are stupid enough to make mistake after mistake in terms of managerial appointments in such a short space of time. After sacking Tuchel and hiring Potter, it would be a monumental mistake to keep Potter in charge and let Nagelsmann go to other club. Could very well be Spurs as I am sure they will be all over this now. Also Real Madrid could make their move and even Paris.

The Chelsea board must get their sh*t together and act fast on this. I am not saying Nagelsmann is the best thing since sliced bread, but he could truly be the best fit for this squad and what these owners are trying to build. An attacking minded, young manager for a young squad filled with massive raw talent and tons of potential that just needs someone with modern football drills and ideas to unlock them through attacking football not the dross that Potter is trying to play.

Nagelsmann is another project manager that will take months to settle in with his ideas. He's second in the easiest league in Europe with the biggest team. We'll have the same people moaning. If we're replacing Potter it has to be instant success.

He may be but he's without a shadow of a doubt better than Potter so what are the arguments for not doing it?

Took Hoffenheim from relegation contenders to 4th and 3rd in his first two seasons at that club. Had an instant impact there.

What Potter did with Ostersund is more impressive than what Nagelsmann did with Hoffenheim.

In the German league, of which Potter  just dispatched their 2nd place team out of the CL.

Amazing that this needs pointing out to the cultists.

So what? Only means that the team he took over in 17th was really, really sh*t when he took over and he instantly turned them into one of the better teams in the league.

That was something that was actually impressive, not taking 3 years to finish 9th.

Even Werner scores goals in that league.

For sure it will take time, but I am also sure that after more than half a year in charge, the team would look different and we can see improvement and different tactics and ideas. Something I cannot see after half a year of Potter, every week we look the same, or even worse. There is absolutely nothing to convince me "ok he needs time, things will start to click, we'll look way better come September for sure".

I don't rate Erik ten Haag that much and I think United have been lucky a lot of times this season, but still you can see they are on the right path and will get better in time because even we, as amateurs, can see the improvement. Something that, I am sorry to say it, but I simply cannot see it with Potter. What's he done in his time here could have easily been done by John Terry, too, as a manager, or Big Sam, or Sean Dyche or any other bang average manager.

For all their Bundesliga flaws, you must admit Bayern have looked like a machine in the UCL and have made Barcelona, Paris and Inter look like Bochum in disguise. Barcelona did not even have a shot on target at the Nou Camp when Bayern trashed them 3-0. And in all the matches they played positive football with high pressing and their centre backs way over the halfway line.

Tactically, Nagelsmann might not be on par with Guardiola, but I am sure that it was not his tactics that got him sacked, it's the internal problems that all the managers seem to have at one point there.

I'll repeat it, what Potter did at Ostersund is more impressive than what Nagelsmann did with Hoffenheim.

Certainly brave to take Potter over Nagelsmann when Nagelsmann coaxed a 34 goal season out of Timo bloody Werner LOL, and Potter can hardly buy a goal from anybody at either his current or his previous club !

Also bizarre to criticise Nagelsmann for "only" achieving in a "weak" German league, while simultaneously lauding Potter's achievements in the Swedish Third Division (Arctic) or whatever it was 🙂

It does make for nice entertainment in a quiet week however, so please keep up the good work !

What was so impressive about it? Getting promoted a few times when you are getting backed to the hilts and spending money you don't have? Or your best league finish being 5th in a league that's actually piss poor and one of the worst in all of Europe.

Taking a team from the second division in Sweden into European competition and beating a Premier league club like Arsenal is more impressive than taking a team up 10 spots in the same one team league.

on that basis Harry Redknapp is the greatest manager of all time.

Have you done any research on how they achieved that? By the time he left the club they were in financial ruins from spending way more money than they had to achieve those results. And yes, beating Arsenal was impressive enough but freak results in cup competitions happens all the time. Like Saudi Arabia beating the world champions.
