Enzo is in the 96th percentile for progressive passes.

Mudryk is also pretty average taking a man on but has devastating speed in behind and a pretty good first touch. 

I miss counter attacking football, i want to see Fabregas send a ball over the top to Costa again. We can do this with Enzo and Mudryk. Make it happen, Poch.

Not sure we have the ST capable of playing counter attacking football. Jackson loves coming to receive the ball and to be honest its an excellent quality he has when he wasn't in this rut of form. 

Still think our football against Arsenal was arguably the best we've played all season and I am disappointed we haven't seen anything like it since. Compact, well structured, retained the ball when needed and let the opposition have it when necessary then kill them on the quick transition.

One of my biggest frustrations with Poch is that our midfield is being used terribly. Of course they also need to shoulder some responsibility, but Enzo and Caicedo seem to be being told to stuff that isn't using them to the best of their abilities.

We don't have a ST capable of playing any type of football. 

Counter attacking *should* suit him more, all he has to do is get in the box. Forget about dropping deep, forget about ball progression. Stand on the last man.

At the very least play them together in the pivot, Enzo being that much offensive is madness Caicedo isn't supposed to run with the ball solo in the midfield.

But it is not a riddle. If Enzo stay back, you need somebody to feed/support Mudryk. It is that simple. Who do you think will be better to support Mudryk? Enzo, Cucu or Colwill? 

That is the decision that manager has to make. It is not just I want Enzo n Caicedo deep next to each other that is it.

To feed I'd expect Enzo as a DLP and Colwill/Badiashile at LCB to play those balls into behind. 

To support I'd expect the likes of Jackson and Nkunku/Gallagher to work off of him.

The ideal is Nkunku in the 10, Palmer on the right and Mudryk left all linking together, interchanging and having a clued in striker making runs to make space and be in goof space to recieve.

DPL is just a role.  Not relevant here. If Mudryk want to receive the ball high, the one who feed him also need to play high. Enzo being a wonderful passer can connect to Mudryk even when he is far away but you can't have this as your main idea of attack. 

Btw since you love De Zerbi, this is just one example. 

Mitoma high and wide you have two 10 receiving the ball deep ( It doesn't matter if those two 10 are  Welbeck, Ferguson or whoever, they are playing like a 10 here) and one of the 10s received the ball from pivot and then fed Mitoma. 

You can still see your two narrow pivot that you want but they are very far away from Mitoma. (if Mitoma here drop deep then it is easier but in our case Mudryk dropping only benefit opp not us) 

This is just one way to do it and  there are a gazillion setup. 

So why don't poch do this, poch must be an idiot

Apparently Enzo has been suffering from a groin injury for quite some time, which could've aggravated during today's game. It's no secret that he's been playing almost non-stop since last year and has barely had any vacations, so if that were the case then his early exit from today's game shouldn't come as a surprise now. What pisses me off is that if that's true it means they already knew about this, and decided to keep playing him anyway.

Yeah people were saying he was ill, but it looked like he was holding his groin when subbed off. He was apparently in tears on the bench with players comforting him. 

Guess we will know more tomorrow. 

Poch just said that he wasn’t feeling well before the game but wanted to play. Enzo asked to come off because of the illness. Doesn’t think it’s anything serious.

Ahh that would explain why we’ve never seen him play well since the WC because this investment has not paid off for Clearfake or the 1st 11.  
He’s done nothing of worth in a year and people including me slagged Havertz. Another midfielder nonetheless. 
Give him Christmas and New Year off plus as much time as it takes to properly recover him. Then just then we might see his Argy form for us  

Gooners got Rice for less than him or Caciedo and their investment looks like paying dividends .

He actually played well in many games this season, people don't like stats but they don't appear out of nowhere. He could play a lot better for sure, and be more consistent, but it's not like the others have played much better either.
