Does seem ideal for the glazers doesn't it? Get paid for a minority stake in the club, let that person fund and be responsible for all the contentious decisions a football club needs to make (The stadium, transfers, managers etc) but ultimately still be able to control the distrubution of dividends and any other way they have been benefiting from the club previously.

Douglas Luiz surely has to be one of the Players of the Season. Emery has improved his output and has to be one of the best midfielders in the league. City sold him for £15m, Villa wouldn’t take any bids under £70m serious in today’s market. When you compare him to recent City signings in midfield; Kovacic and Nunez, it’s like night and day.
