In the second half we started 3-0 up, he was nominated as MOTM.

He only figured prominently once we were three up.

I've said before once he starts getting the first goal or the winner against a big five club a couple of times then I will start to believe.

The kid is clearly quality. The big question, can he do this playing twice a week.

Not working out for us unless we build a team around him and im not sure he will ever be strong enough to survive in the premier league

He's only 18. He has plenty of time to adapt physically. You'd expect him to be a more developed by 20/21.

Messi was injury prone at 17-20.

Biggest concern for me is the drop off in form from everyone. Like this guy, a lot, but he has to start converting and impacting games either as a starter or sub. Palmer has gone from worldie to bang average. Team looks all over the place. Hoping he gets a starting position for us next season and 12 months of adjusting works out for him because we need an entertainer if its not Palmer.

And this is a big part of the problem when you put together a very young team. Many of them are still developing and are not yet cut out to last a full game in the Premier League. You can carry 1 ot 2 players like this and certainly Estevao is a potential gem. But we have way too many young players that are lacking physically.

Indeed, last night we got bullied by apparently 78kg, 1.81m Pascal Gross! Talk about a reality check (we all knew anyway, but maybe it was for the stupid directors).

Just get the lad 100% fit for the beginning of next season. Don't want to see him miss the WC but then get flown off to some meaningless pre-season tournamount.

You mean like he was doing in Brazil?

Completely different intensity. Of our perma-injured players over the last several years who have gone abroad seem to play week in week out. RLC, Pulisic as examples

Grade 4 tear.

He’s out for a very long time I think

yup confirmed grade 4 tear. :/
Very likely out of the WC and needs to be very careful when returning to action.

Rumor, so take it with a grain of salt.

I've just heard on a Brazilian sports show it's a full rupture and chelsea suggested immediate corrective surgery. Player and staff decided to go to Brazil and try to recover in time for the WC.

I'm not sure I like the take as a Brazil fan. I certainly do not like what I hear, if true, as a chelsea fan.

Another rumor: his return was too soon... dunno if player pushed for it (for the WC).

No way he makes it back in time for the world cup with a grade 4 rupture. He's risking his career if he tried to force it.

Agreed. And as I added above, rumor has it that his return was rushed.
