In true Italian style Atalanta get their foot on the ball for a couple of minutes. Cuadrado feeds de Roon who plays a great cross into our old boy Pasalic who nutmegs Szczesny.

As it stands, City could play Real Madrid in the last 16 playoff. Bayern conceding knocked themselves down a spot, which probably helps their chances of making the last 16.

Pasalic was one player that I'd like to have seen play for us rather than have all those loans he had. Never a bad idea to have a tall goal-scoring midfielder in your squad.

STERLING MISSES A PENALTY 

Scalvini was clattered at a corner and has gone off on the golf cart after looking quite limp (although he now appears to be conscious). Hope he's alright.

Thankfully Gasperini has lightened the mood a bit as he appears to have his own stopwatch. He's looming over the fourth official to make sure these extra minutes are added on.

I got this wrong. It's Real Madrid OR Bayern. Either way, one of the big names are going out in the playoffs.

Jorginho and Kovacic still starting in the Champions League whereas their replacements are sitting on their arses after getting ran around by a half fit Bernardo Silva for 90 minutes.

Draw on Friday. Fingers crossed that Arsenal get a really tough bracket.

Kovavic looked a good player, even managed to get on the score sheet regularly, that's 5 after just half a season 😐. I still maintain you could have the best youth prospects in the world in the team, but need at least half of the team is made of proven& experienced players.
