I was there, in the Gladys Street end, sitting on my hands but screaming in my head.

Its the best/worst moment isnt it, I nearly got filled in at Sunderland when Cuducini save a Kevin Phillips penalty and I forgot I was in the home end and jumped up cheering 😅

Everton at Goodison Park always makes me nervous given our poor record there over the past decade.

  • 10/12/2023 = Everton 2-0 Chelsea
  • 6/08/2022 = Everton 0-1 Chelsea
  • 1/05/2022 = Everton 1-0 Chelsea
  • 12/12/2020 = Everton 1-0 Chelsea
  • 7/12/2019 = Everton 3-1 Chelsea
  • 17/03/2019 = Everton 2-0 Chelsea
  • 23/12/2017 = Everton 0-0 Chelsea
  • 30/04/2017 = Everton 0-3 Chelsea
  • 12/09/2015 = Everton 3-1 Chelsea

Cant believe the 3-6 game was over 10 years ago, feels like yesterday.

In contrast in our last 7 league visits to Goodison Park we have managed to score just 2 goals, 1 of which was a penalty.

Drogba's goal was the better one, oh my word what a screamer.... Honestly, what Jose did to that side was as incredible as the players in it. Who out of our current line up would get into that team of legends? That's the bar this lot have to become. it's been pretty good so far with Maresca...

Everton are on a good run of form, confident after the Arsenal result... Think we may just have too much in our own tanks for Everton. Fancy Noni to have a stand out game, hope he does, moved him into my fantasy side after reluctantly subbing out James.

think this will finish 0-3 to us

Not really a bogey team, a bogey away trip.

At home we have an excellent record vs Everton, however at their place it is not the case.

Wouldn’t go that far ! They’ve plenty of draws at the bridge over the last decade

Oof, what a statement!

Difficult to choose between the two. Lampard's hit was so sweet, with no run up, and the curve took it away from the keeper. Absolute world class belter of a strike.

They really arent, 1 win in 6, 2 losses 3 draws isnt a great run of form. Its better for them, but it was a bloody low bar.

Bit of a hit and hope that drogba one... 🙂 ultimately, two absolute worldies. Goals so good my pot head remembers them. who in our current lineup would even attempt something like that?

Bad news Everton takeover completed, the new owners will be in attendance Sunday meaning all their players will be trying 110 % to impress them

Early Christmas present for the Everton fans then.

Our game there is always tough anyways, this just adds another layer too it.  Like a few said before Brentford, we are due to drops some points, this may well be it.

Unlike Brentford I have yet to feel the nerves for this one. I really wanted that Brentford win and it felt great to finally get it. Them owning us at the Bridge has been horrible.

This one, we'll it's Everton at Goodison Park with their rowdy mob on top of the players and refs. Tough ask, not impossible by any means, but the result, and our performance at OT, our main bogey ground along with this and ST. James Park, tempers my expectations.

It's also the true beginning of the festive program, we don't tend to do well with that.

In any case very happy with the progress Maresca is making with the boys, good to see the likes of Enzo, Sancho, Noni stepping up their games and Caicedo and Cucu only getting better under him. And of course Cole and Nico. So, unless we get slapped, I won't be too negative about this game if it does not go in our favour.

Yeah think it’ll be something like this. Wouldn’t be surprised if it is Badiashile at LB. Veiga looked shaky against Spurs.

He was on for less than 5 minutes of added time ffs I wish Badiashile had looked only shaky in the last 18 months he looks like a deer in the headlights every time he steps on the pitch.

Lavia still a doubt.

Badiashile and Fofana are out for "A long period".

Need to get a CB in January 100%.

Hmm. This was nearly a month ago

Maresca from the jump said he'd be out for at least a month. At the moment, it really isn't that much of an issue should there be no more injuries in defence. knock on wood.

Gusto and Acheampong for RB.

Tosin, Colwill, Disasi and even Veiga at CBs.

Cucurella and Veiga at LB.

Should be enough to get us through this festive period.
