Any decent striker would have slid in with his left, the pillock

Palmer should have scored himself, and the ball is overhit to Nico.

However Nico also overhit his pass to Noni and fortunately Noni managed to toe it in.

Nico should have taken that on with his left foot, and his (and Coles) mistake was costly.

Championship manager.

Guys an absolute failure. Just sack him now and save the months of utter sh*te results and football

And replace him with what? Keep the manager for once build for the long term.

Nearly every match we fluff a big chance to go 2-0 up, and it's at that point you release to yourself that's the turning point of the match right there and we will do well to even get a draw out of the match afterwards.

Our confidence suddenly drains, the oppositions confidence suddenly rises and we have Sanchez in goal so any scoreline is now possible.

It's as predictable as watching an episode of Eastenders.

Just seen MOTD, Jackson makes the first goal.

On the 2nd chance it is overhit Jackson recycles it to Fernandez who typically wastes it.

Not much more to see from us from what I saw.

Murphy made an interesting point, why when City are on the ball in midfield are our defenders level with City's attackers, says they should drop deeper so they have time to react. They don't have the time which means it is a foot race when a ball is played through encouraging Sanchez to come out as he thinks he can clear it as our defenders looks second best.

Murphy says this is down to Maresca as he did not change this in the 2nd.

It was Sancho who takes the shot that is blocked ... the City defender (new guy ?) closed down really fast for the block, so credit to him for that.

Having watched the replay a few times, I'm still not sure if Jackson should have scored as there was a lot of pace on the pass, which doesn't show from a still photo. What did the pundits say about that one ? I was really surprised Palmer didn't shoot himself, as we have seen him bury loads of those !

I thought Palmer should have shot - and not just because the only other option was Jackson 😁

looks like we went to city  dropped are pants and said help yourself  ,   this was a poor city team  with a weak defence  and we didnt have the bottle to attack

fortunate goal made it look ok first half , we sat back and tried to hit them on the break his let them dictate the tempo   and nothing changed in second half

Club is not serious about winning the prem ,  been so long with out a top centre back , Striker , and keeper if they were serious these things would of been addressed  how many season have to go past before we do something ?

Give me a break..'young team and lacking mentality'.... fed up with this generation being 'fragile' and can't take adversity..want everything on a plate, including the 100k a week for kicking a piece of leather around...they need to fkcuing grow up and start taking some responsibility for their actions..or lack thereof in their case.  They should be rolling their sleeves up and getting stuck in....but I guess if they did that they'd get cold arms and we'd have to give them arm warmers and gloves...most fkcuing pathetic lot I'm seen over the last 55 years..

Aye lad, I were only thinking the other day that I hadn’t seem Monty Python’s Four Yorkshiremen in a while and here it be 😂

Totally agree, players like Chopper and Webb were never young and had the right mentality coming out of every orifice. Even the guys that weren’t the most skillful at least looked like they wanted to play.
