I don't understand why you want Ance. The moment our result goes bad, he will get abused by fans who will say he is a dinosaur, doesn't understand tactic, can't coach. There will be article, video explaining our team bad structure, bad spacing.

Similar critique happens to all managers when results are poor. What is always overlooked is the entertainment value of the style of football. I would rather have Ancelotti in a downturn than this turgid boring style of play.

A win is a win and I'll take the three points happily, but we were not very good and Southampton are dreadful.

The atmosphere shifted from moaning to indifference throughout most of the first half, and a few chants here and there during the second. Unless things start changing, there's apathy combined with annoyance through the stands.

I've got to say, as embarrassing as the fans in the crowd were last night booing after 15 minutes, it was topped by the players doing the talking gesture with their hands after scoring a goal. Getting all cocky from scoring at home against the worst team in premier history after being sh*t for 3 months is tragic.

Exactly what I thought.

I get players celebrating ANY goal, but come on, we have been sh*t for ages and were playing one of the worst sides in PL history so lets not give it the big'un. A raised hand and a slightly embarrassed look should have accompanied any goal last night. I didn't see the Nkuku goal - please don't tell me he got his f**king blue balloon out? Must be the most cringeworthy celebrations of all-time!

He got the blue balloon out - to be honest, i'm ok with it, and for a change he actually threw him self at somthing and showed a modicum of bravery.

Especially as we spent the first twenty minutes struggling to get out of our own half and develop any sustained forward movement.

Has to avoid a yellow against Leicester. We don't want him suspended for Arsenal.

The fact he has put himself in a position like this is crazy. The scoreline was 4-0. Why do you even need to make a foul???

Hey what do you know, we agree about something else as well!
