Following Our Nearest And Dearest Rivals 2025/26

One thing I noticed about the City game yesterday was what a poor game Semenyo had. When I say poor, I obviously don't mean Garnacho level poor, but still poor none the less.

Also wonder if he is known as Spunky in the changing room?

I can't believe how bad our season has been that the only joy I'll derive now is from watching Arse bottle the league.

And if they somehow do win the league, I can see myself drowning in a bottle of rum.

Speaking of Palace, will they spoil our Monday evening or will West Ham get the win.

Leeds I think are safe now. Forest still need another win.

Palace have a european tie to rest up for and not much to play for in the league, West Ham should be going all out. Can see a B-team being played

Think he's allowed 1 bad game given how good he has been this season at both clubs.

He never really got into the game. It happens. Cherki stealing his thunder.

He was really poor yesterday, not Garnacho levels like you say though lol.

He just frustrated me a bit because I wanted City to win so badly.

Like others have said he's been very good since he's arrived at City so 1 bad game isn't a problem.

Hopefully he regains his form staright away against Burnley on Wednesday.

Not Nuno’s finest effort. The two front men AWOL all night, Bowen invisible, he brings on Wilson too late and leaves Traore on the bench. Traore lacks end product but his speed and muscle would have given Palace something to worry about.

At times he frustrates and is a little bit light weight but boy, I would take Summerville over any of our current wide men.

He’s developed since his Leeds days. He was all tricks and flicks, nothing more. Puts in an effort now, even if, as you say, a bit lightweight.

You need to put the mental aspect into this, too.

City have been 1st for only 6 days throughout the entire season. Arsenal have led the PL for the entire season only to see City surpass them in a few days when they will beat Burnley.

City are absolutely flying. Arsenal are not.

Arsenal is under immense pressure and playing Newcastle, a very good team that have nothing to play for anymore, is the worst matchup they could have asked for in this situation. Then there is Fulham sandwiched in between the two rugby matches against Atletico. And then West Ham who will be desperate for points and that will be Arsenal's 5th match in 15 days.

IMHO if Arsenal don't beat Newcastle, it's 95% over. And going to Madrid to play Atletico after that would be a nightmare, Simeone will break their legs and play the dirtiest tie against them knowing they absolute fall into a million pieces under the smalles of pressure as a club.

That and Eze+Rice doesn't look fit. They were absolutely lucky that the ref didn't red carded Gabriel because a 3 game suspension would have derailed their backline

You can say that about most wingers in the world.

Anyway, it really does look like May 17 may be our biggest game of the season. Small club mentality? I dont care, send them down!

I also do take som pleasure from the fact Leicester seem to be going down to league one, for some reason

Exactly. Rice has not been the same, Zubimendi either. Merino was some sort of super sub for so many times, but he is not fit either. I also think Arsenal peaked way too early in the season and are now left with little resources in the tank just when they needed that final push.

Brady has left West Ham with immediate effect. Got a West Ham mate who is over the moon and just hoping Sullivan follows.

Good thing too. Sullivan, as owner, less likely to go. Pity. He is largely responsible for their plight. Their recruiting amounts to whichever player agent gets into his ear.
