Unlucky West Ham. Own goal, goal called off for a tight offside and hit the woodwork twice.

I think Spurs will beat Villa as Villa will be fully focused on the Europa League semi final.

If West Ham lose today that'll be it for our hopes of Spurs relegation I'm afraid.

It's all a welcome distraction from us dropping down to 10th as results stand !

On form agreed.

Elephant in the room is the regular season match ups against the other teams that have made the play offs ... no wins against anyone !

Their season falls into two parts. Pre-Eckert and Eckert. He took over late December 2025. The big losses to Boro and Hull were September 2025, the loss to Millwall was November 2025. Mid-January 2026 is when the Eckert effect kicked in.

West Ham goal ruled out. Player's arm and hand offside. But he can't play the ball with his hand or arm so why should that be considered offside- bonkers

I thought the rule was changed to take that into account. Obviously not. I well remember Patrick Bamford being pinged for offside because his finger - pointing to where he wanted the ball delivered - was called offside.

He took over 2nd November, and was in charge for the 3-2 loss to Millwall (29th November), the 4-0 loss to Middlesbrough (4th January) , and the 2-1 loss to Hull (17th January), albeit all early in his tenure.

Since then, they do have significant momentum - unbeaten in the last 19 league games of the regular season (W14 D5). The City FA Cup SF was the only game they've lost since that 2-1 to Hull.

Got a few mates who are Saints fans so I hope they make it on their account !

Yep, I can't see where West Ham will get a couple of wins to survive if Spurs do beat Villa.

Worst I've seen Fulham play, they haven't turned up at all.

With Man City having 2 tough games just to get level on points with Arsenal, and Arsenal's remaining games against a poor West Ham, a poor Burnley at home and a Crystal Palce team that will probably rest players before the Conference League Final a few days later I can't see anything other than Arsenal winning the league now unfortunately.

TBH I didn’t expect Fulham to win today but Arsenal taking off players like Saka & Rice and resting them for Tuesday is what’s disappointed me most.

This match shouldn’t have been that easy for them.

It’s Fulham. A team built around other clubs’ cast-offs. Cast off because they weren’t good enough.

Arsenal really would have struggled to pick a better run in.

Left is West Ham away, Burnley Home and Palace away.

Speaking of West Ham that is a killer today, to lose and get stuffed like that is going to be a big blow to them, especially if Spurs win tomorrow. Which they may do as Villa have to focus on that second leg vs Forest.

They need to. They were poor in the first leg.

Don't think Everton will cause on upset on Monday then eh?

Nah, City will rip them a new one.

Reckon both City and Arsenal win their remaining matches so it will all go down to GD.

But first I will wait for next week because Arsenal have the UCL semifinal and then play West Ham at the week-end after City had already played their match against Brentford. City could be level on points by then and if Arsenal get knocked out by Atletico, the pressure will be massive on them when they face West Ham.

Have to hope West Ham turn up for that one.

Mind you only matters if City turn up as well. Messing about like thy did against Burnley and Southampton won't work.
