I haven't seen a CB cheat as much as Gabriel since Ramos. I don't understand why refs don't clamp down on it. The guy just throws his body into the opposition, goes down screaming, and the refs buy it every time.

Every day has progressively got worse for about 4 days football wise - all that's left now is the winning team tomorrow to have players suspended for the final.

That axis of Raya, Gabriel, Saliba and Rice is damn good.

It's the timing of it all.

Arsenal are on the verge of winning the CL and the league in a time when we won't be playing in the CL for the foreseeable future, and most likely will be battling relegation.

It feels like the end of our era and the beginning of theirs, which is unpleasant to say the least.

Unfortunately they deserve it as well.

We've had some truly amazing teams. That first Jose one though, pre helmet Cech, the defence, Maka. Oh I loved how amazing that defence was. It was special.

Arsenals are not quite that good but they have a top, top defence and talisman leader in Rice.

Much as it is truly painful to say they deserve the title and their first European cup.

Last night just confirmed why I wouldn't want Simeone as our coach. Sure he would bring some discipline and sort out some ego's, but he's a bit of a "nearly man" and football not great to watch. Just never felt Arsenal were in trouble and always looked likely to go through to final.

We can only hope that either Bayern or PSG absolutely BATTER them in the final - THAT will make great viewing!

He's a decent coach if given to histrionics. They were always up against it last night. One quality attacker in Alvarez who obviously wasn't 100% fit after the week before. Lookman, very good in Serie A, is out of his depth at this higher level. Simeone Jnr, a decent player, wasn't 100% fit either. And Griezmann is a shadow of what he was. He's off to MLS.

Arsenal cruised. BM or PSG will be another matter with their speed and skill. Let's see Ben White up against, say, Kvaratskhelia.
