Wrexham vs Chelsea (FAC) Saturday 7th March 17:45 GMT

Rosenior is aware that the objective is to win the match right? That XI is a bit f**king grim.

That said, somewhat understandable that he'd pick this game to rest players in (see below for our March schedule), I just imagined a less... er... 'dramatic' set of changes:

At least we're starting our best keeper. It may also be some comfort to know that Wrexham are resting/missing a few of their big hitters too (three of their top five scorers in the league aren't in the starting XI).

Good to see both Lavia and Essugo back, we may finally have some midfield depth so we don't have to start Caicedo/Enzo fifteen times in thirty days like we did in January. Will be curious to see how Hato and Acheampong get on as (presumed) wing-backs.

Never fear, Garnacho will score a hat-trick and get MOTM. Santos or Acheampong should be captain though.

P.S. The Rodriguez on their bench is the now 36-year-old Jay Rodriguez. He has scored against us four times over the course of his career.

Midfield choice is a tad risky.

Lavia injury prone ... and the bench cover for midfield is the injury-prone Essugo, or James, who could do with a rest as much as Caicedo or Enzo.

I did look at the bench quickly after seeing Lavia is starting...

And Santos was Rosenior's captain at Strasbourg as well. Surprised he hasn't been given a go here !

Yup. A captain should lead in some sort of positive way. More likely Tosin inspires a collapse.

No sign of Kavuma-McQueen on the bench then ! Why not include him at the expense of one of the 4 defenders ?

So much for the pre-match press briefing LOL.

All on Jesse Derry, Reece James and Joao Pedro when Delap, Neto and Co blow this.

Yes that was pretty much my take on perusing the bench too !

Actually I thought "all on Joao Pedro" 😎

He needs supply though. No Enzo, No Cole.

Nobody in that line up is likely to set him up. Best chance being a long Sarr pass or a miss hit from our winger wonder twins happens to fall for him.

Team picked by blue co,nothing has changed since maresca left, they still pick the team, stuck £20 on Wrexham win

4/1 on Skybet. Not bad in a two horse race when one of the horses has shown up a bit lame LOL

It's a shocking lineup and a total condemnation of the transfer strategy of these owners and SDs. I'll be pleasantly surprised if we win this but with Tosin and Baddysh*te in defence this is going to be one hell of a battle.

Probably why he’s forced to play Sarr alongside them.

Isn’t Sarr a CB? Are we playing with 4 CBs? Or, otherwise, is Sarr or Hato playing in midfield and Santos or Lavia as 10? Good to rest some players, like Caicedo and Enzo, but why complicate things or playing with 5 defensive minded players gains Wrexham? Nevertheless, I think that LR is so far having luck, so I think that we’ll see a good game.

I think that team selection has given Wrexham hope, that in itself is an error. LR may not have picked the team with a free hand but he will be held accountable of that i am sure, these SDs are non stick.

No comment and onto the next round or embarrassment.

It's good having a Chelsea man as a pundit but Joe Cole does talk a load of old bo**ocks

I'm trying to decide to watch this with annoying Dutch commentary or with annoying BBC commentary.
