ALLONSO IS NOT COMING TO CHELSEA

Liverpool will sack Slot at the end of the season and he will go there

All this is, is PR, to try and get the supporters not to protest in the next two games, then they will stagger through to the end of the season, then they will say we tried to get him, but he chose Liverpool

We will then end up with another puppet

I'll agree with that, but I think they've underestimated what will happen if they dangle Alonso in front of our noses for the longest time only to end up with Marco bloody Silva

I wouldn't put it past them considering these are the same dickheads who thought they were above hiring Luis Enrique.

I wish I was a fly in the room. To see them squirm over the possibility that they have to cede power and control in every aspect of the club. If I was Alonso I would tell them I'm only working under 1 bloke, so you 5 sporting directors can fight to the death.

Alonso is a good candidate - although his time at Real Madrid is a little worrying and his loyalty will always be to the scousers and he will most likely go there. Maybe we should consider Slot?

After the World Cup there will be more managers available and the manager-go-round will start. I look to our cousins in France, Spain and Germany and I will keep an eye on what they are up to. Maybe Deschamps could be the next boss at PSG? There will be movement in the market.

His time at Real left the club with a 70% win percentage and a locker room where Mbappe and Bellingham thought they were above pressing and tactics. I don't even have hope for Mourinho to do well there anymore.

If Alonso is genuinely interested I think it would be a gargantuan risk to just 'wait until after the world cup' for other managers where nothing is guaranteed. More than likely will start the season with just our dicks in our hand.

IF Alonso is interested then yep we should not wait. But it is probably Alonso who is waiting to see what happens. Slot has only one year left on his contract.

I'm not entirely sure he's waiting on Liverpool. I think he just wants to manage in the Premier League per Ornstein.

He's definitely going to be patient when talking to our sporting directors considering there is no way he joins us unless there is a landscape designed for him to succeed.

Imagine a meeting with our FIVE sporting directors. A team of Sporting Directors. It is not something that would inspire any manger to be.

Well said; and Vinicius is Florentino Perez’s pet. No manager will survive in that dressing room. Mourinho is going there for the payoff, he will be gone by the end of the season.

They would never admit that, it’ll be more like “he wasn’t the right fit and we now have our 1st choice”

Even if it turns out to be Ted Lasso.

In an ideal world if Alonso is the man get him in as early as possible. Let him start work on the squad.

Get what targets he wants and a pre season rather than sitting here transfer deadline day hoping we sign a keeper.

We have 5 SD ‘s and nothing happens for weeks. Clown show.

The rumours are Alonso is interested but he wants 2 defenders for starters.

Apparently he doesn’t particularly want loads of control but some new players and a say in who they could be and how the team plays.

Let’s see if The Board are serious about the old “self reflection” bit, or if it will be the same old the SD’s are in total control nonsense we’ve had so far.

There's no way the SDs would change their approach and go for someone like Alonso after spending billions on their previous approach. That would be admitting to their boss that they shat the bed.

The only way I see Alonso coming is if there's a will from BlueCo to give Fallows more control and set aside Laurel and Hardy.

That being said I firmly believe what others have said, it's all media spins to appease the fans until the season is done, after which they'll get us another underwhelming manager.

I'm trying to work out if you considered the neurodiversity of the author (me) before you decided to mock, I promise it's easier for you to understand what I mean't then it is for me to spell it.

If they did this, like, literally - a Hunger Games style program on Chelsea TV - it would be both a huge revenue-generator and pacify the fans to a significant degree. Feels like an unmissable opportunity right there.

"It's day 3 in the arena and today we release the tigers."

So the owners and directors are useless pricks, bag of w**k pricks right? However as much as they are up their own arses smelling each others farts, there's no way on gods green earth they don't see their plans blowing up in their faces. As much as I not falling for the whole "self reflection" PR, there must be some realisation that they need to change their direction going forward. They must see that managers are leaving, players are revolting and the fans are sick to the teeth with it all. Even if they are as thick as pig sh*t they must see everything's going to the dogs. We're losing out to Brighton and Bournemouth for a 6th place finish for Christs sake. If that aint a wake up call then destroying the club deliberately is the only conclusion I can come to.

Now I'm not getting carried away by any stretch with the "self reflection" but if they could start to reign in the controlling and over managing, they could alter the all youth project to bring in some experience, and if (BIG IF) we get the appointment right maybe just maybe we could have the start of something?

Everything is doom and gloom at the moment but football can change very quickly, look at the sh*tshow that is Man Utd close to relegation last season to comfortably 3rd.

They literally have to just stick it out and keep us as a PL team to see a return on their money. That is all.

Trophies do not matter. At the end of the 10 years ‘turning a profit on the asset (CFC LDN)’ is all that matters to them. With TV rights going the way they are, that’s all their projections are. They have to do the bare minimum to keep us in the PL and eating from that table. If they can flip a few players in the meantime for some nice extra pennies then that’s a bonus.

What happens on the pitch has absolutely no bearing on how they see the asset (not club)

Just seen that he had a 70.58% win percentage as Madrid manager, why the f**k did they sack him lmao Zidane and Carlo didn't even have results that good.

There were problems with Vinicius that threw the toys out of the pram because Alonso was subbing him in games and he didn't like to be subbed off. Florentino had to intervene and at the end they choose Vinicius over Alonso.

In theory that is true. But the value of the club will be determined by the whole package including the quality and value of the squad at the time of any sale. Also, the way things are going they could easily fail to keep us in the Premier League if they continue in their current direction.

If they hire Alonso it would mean someone is admitting that they have f**ked up and getting demoted internally but not publicly

No chance these clowns hire Alonso.

Yet they are on the verge of appointing Mourinho who publicly told Vinicius to stop crying after the racial incident earlier this year.
